Hello everybody,
Last February 24, it was almost lunch time, after I let the dogs eat, hubby told me to hurry up because we will travel again. My son asked where to? Hubby
said, he wanted to roam around TOPS! Oh, oh, he was bored again!
What is Tops? Tops Lookout or simply Tops to local is an observatory deck and a picnic place overlooking the City of Cebu, Mandaue and Mactan Island, on top of the mountain in Busay, built in 1985. One of Cebu's iconic landmarks, it is 2000 feet elevation from sea level.
Before we went to Tops, we first fetched hubby's Aunt, her daughter AnnAnn, her grandson and granddaughter Chiara in Talamban.
Waiting for them for a while, I snapped their cat named Purple, I was amused for a golden cat to be called Purple, ahahaha.
We arrived at Tops about 3 pm the sun was up, still scorching hot plus traffic. Many people already inside the circle. We convinced hubby to sit on his wheelchair because the parking space was far. It was good he obeyed. We have a hard time carrying him, grateful many helped, lend their hands because no ramp for wheel chairs in front of the establishment. Many were asking why the design at the entrance is not pwd friendly and even mother's carrying their babies in a baby cot with wheels having a hard time by the stairs of 5 steps. Maybe in the future they will address this problem. They are still on their soft opening.
Anyways, we were there already with the entrance of 100 pesos each. We first looked for tables and chairs because we brought along pizzas and we were all hungry in time for snacks. It was good I have negotiated in one of the resto there that we will order something in their store in exchange for a table and 6 chairs. So, I let AnnAnn order some food. She ordered only Teramisu and some orange drink because it's a bit pricey.
The teramisu from Sweet Alchemy
After we were full that's the time we enjoyed the surroundings. Took videos, photos and selfies. All tourist were all standing, some busy with their drones.
Before 5 pm the sun was not hot, hubby roamed around, our grandson driving his wheel chair.
Our posing...
With my son, our driver.
With the important man of the day, Tiya Bebe...
When the sun set, all phone cams and cameras snapped the breathtaking view.
Before 6pm we all felt the cold wind, we all did not brought jackets and hats so we decided to retreat and return home.
Traffic in front because many buses were coming in.and more tourist arrivals.
Here's the pinmapple of the area.
We passed by Bukid Tres for our dinner time. The management knew us already so automatic that they set up the tables and chairs in front of the van.
We were all full and satisfied! So, tiring, we arrived at 11 pm in our house.
Thanks @tatoodjay for this wednesdaywalk and @justinpark for aseanhive.
