I made a delicious meal for my family today and also healthy. I cook yam with vegetables I love to add vegetables in almost all my food because vegetables help in pumping blood and it also help to build our immune system.
That is why I add vegetables in most of my food. Adding vegetables to yam also makes the yam healthy and delicious and I enjoy my porridge yam with vegetables.
INGREDIENTS USED
1/2 tube of yam
1 bunch of pumpkin leave (vegetable)
1 medium Onion
1/2 tablespoon of dry Pepper
Salt to taste
1/2 cup of red oil
Water.
PROCEDURE
STEP 1
I will start by peeling my yam and cut into pieces and wash.
STEP 2
I will now put them in a clean pot and add water and cook.
STEP 3
While waiting for my yam to be done I will now wash my vegetables and slice and I will also wash my onions and slice too.
STEP 4
I will now check my yam to see if is soft
Once my yam is soft I will now put salt.
After salt I will now add my red oil and stir.
I will now add pepper.
After pepper my slice onions.
I will now stir very well and add my slice vegetables.
I will stir very well to avoid tasting differently.
Here my porridge yam and vegetables is ready.
Looking at this dish is very simple to cook and looks attractive so the taste is topnotch and no one will resist to eat with you.
This meal is good for everybody and is also good at all time.
You can have for breakfast, lunch or dinner suitable for everyone.
