Hello, Hivers, it's me, back again with a funny story to share.
This time around, I’m gonna share our event that took place in our school. This event is specifically to our major only- HIYAS (Home of Young Independent Aspiring Students). This event is celebrated annually.
My classmates and I joined the program. I was excited because the theme of the games was inspired by the South Korean movie– Squid Game. In my mind, I was like “Hmm. this will be fun because I love the games, especially filipino-inspired squid games.
As the event started, everyone was hyped up. Per group they were tasked to draw their spirit animal and look at their artwork, such cute and creative. Everyone was so happy and enjoyed the game.
The next game is the STICK-O , where a representative per group needs to separate the color white in the STICK-O. It was very time-consuming yet thrilling at the same time because it must not be broken. HAHAHA I can’t help but laugh due to the silliness in their faces especially my friend Brandon who was very competitive. Each member has its own strategy and it was so lit.
The next game that I was able to attend was the Tug of War. Believe me, I burst into laughter because their reaction was just too funny to resist, especially to the reaction of my classmates.
HAHAHA Their reaction is so laughable because it feels like they’re back from their childhood.
All teams were very competitive and a fighter. While watching, I can’t help but to cheer as well because I can see that they’re putting so much effort into it.
We get to bond, get to know and socialize in our lower years. Despite the theme of the game, we didn’t forget to incorporate the importance of Social Studies (Araling Panlipunan). Everyone participated in the game and at the end of the day, we gather some lessons that we can always share with others. What’s really matter the most is everyone was happy and socializing.
