More than a typical walk, I'm knocking on doors for cash. It's my evening job to help cover the bills. The weather is nice, walking is nice, speaking with people is nice. But it's tiring, walking four hours straight. For a 46 year old man, father of six children, I'm getting a lot of doors knocked in 4 hours.
I think I may need a new pair of shoes when this is over! I estimate I've walked between 15 - 20 miles so far, over three days. I'm getting my exercise, that's for sure!
For what I'm doing, it doesn't pay great. But it helps cover the bills (a little) as they come up.
I've walked 12 hours so far and I'll walk another 4 today to finish up the month. I've knocked 221 doors so far, possibly exceeding 300 total today. We'll see!
