Hi, my dear Hive Gardners!
Life is beautiful and I'm feeling on the upswing! Spring! Spring is everywhere! And that's not going to change now. Even if we have a little frost ahead of us, the course for warmth, the riot of colours in our gardens, the blooming of flowers and the ripening of fruit remains unchanged.
Yesterday I discovered the first flowers in my garden. Of course they bloomed a little earlier, I was just too busy with work and hardly visited the garden. But now I am drawn here like a huge magnet! I have so much planned!
Now, before it gets too hot, I plan to clear the garden of last year's leaves. I didn't do it in autumn because I thought the winter would be snow-free and I wanted something to warm up the flower bulbs that were left in the ground.
But now I really should hurry up. I still find it hard to believe that I have to do this at the beginning of March, because up until a few years ago there was still snow at this time. But things are changing. What is required of us is to adapt to the new rhythm of nature. It occurred to me that we can consider ourselves as young as our bodies are able to adapt to the changes. In this sense, global warming has given us all a real test!
But I hope that with joint efforts we will still cope with this problem. In the meantime, let's enjoy the spring 😘
