Hello to all the beautiful hivers from around the world!
This farm-mom has been trying to get back in the game/posting since the middle of December. I think I have only posted maybe two-three times since the Christmas rush.
Here's a short list of events that took me away from all the fun on #hive:
Two trips to Jersey for family Christmas parties.
A trip to St Augustine Florida, then going further south to New Smyrna beach Florida for a month.
Buzz back home for the birth of our eighth grandchild. Gianna Jade is the seventh girl.
Four trips to Pennsylvania to be with my daughter and our new baby girl.
Three trips back to New Jersey for basketball games and birthday parties.
One trip back to Jersey to help my oldest son recover from pneumonia.
My car breaks down and keeps me away from the farm and my hubby for an extra six days.
Seriously exhausted, but of course, that won't keep me from packing my bags and heading to PA tomorrow. I miss my new baby girl and know how fast they change when they are newborns.
Phew! Gosh, how blessed am I? I am so grateful for my good health and wonderful family, retirement couldn't be any finer. 😉
I am working my way back to the hive party and hope this finds all my pals happy and healthy.

So here is my entry in this week's #SMASh contest. All of these shadows were captured in New Smyrna Beach Florida.
This rental was in such a great location, just steps from the beach. We walked most days to great restaurants, a few with happy hours and live music.
Unfortunately, we didn't have very good weather. High winds and cold temperatures for the first two weeks. We were happy when it warmed up.
A huge highlight...spending time with my best friend.
