My Daily Home Routine

In my activity today I was very busy, as you know the chores at home are more tiring, this day I had already committed not to go out, I overslept, I got up at half past eight, after cleaning myself, I go directly to the kitchen to prepare my coffee, something that can not fail in the morning. While it brews, I prepare the water I'm going to drink during the day. My son downloaded an application that tells me to drink 150 ml of water at certain times of the day. The application has a few parameters: controlling the same by weight, and other data, until the end of the day. Hereafter, I will show you some pictures.

Mi Rutina Diaria En Casa

En mi actividad de hoy estuve muy ocupada, como saben las tareas en casa son más cansona, este día ya lo tenía comprometido para no salir a la calle, me quede dormida, me pare a las ocho y media, luego de asearme, voy directamente a la cocina para preparar mi cafecito, algo que no puede fallar en la mañana. Mientras se cuela, voy preparando el agua que voy a beber en el día. Mi hijo me bajó una aplicación que me indica tomar 150 ml de agua en ciertas horas del día. La aplicación tiene unos parámetros: controlando igual por peso, y otros datos, hasta que termine el día. En lo sucesivo, les muestro algunas imágenes.

Immediately, I make breakfast for me, my husband and I; we are both retired. I have prepared some delicious arepas, typical of our Venezuelan gastronomy, with white cheese and butter. I think that, because of that, I do not lose much weight, I have to change my eating habits, to be in accordance with your community, just as I am doing with water. Once I have had breakfast, I proceed to my room to fix the bed.

Inmediatamente, hago desayuno para mí, esposo y yo; ambos estamos jubilados. He preparado unas ricas arepas, propias de nuestra gastronomía venezolana, con queso blanco y mantequilla. Creo que, por eso, no bajo mucho de peso, tengo que cambiar mis hábitos alimenticios, para ir acorde con vuestra comunidad, así como lo estoy haciendo con el agua. Una vez desayunada, procedo a ir a mi cuarto para arreglar la cama.

I go back to the kitchen fortunately my husband scrubs the dishes, once he finishes I get ready to pass a coleto to the kitchen floor, wash the water container to fill it, we have two water tanks at home, but to yield the water I use this container near the sink, I have to wait for it to fill, or else I forget. I go to the bedroom to pick up the messes and also clean up, and then to the other room.

Vuelvo a la cocina por fortuna mi esposo friega los platos, una vez que termina me preparo para pasar un coleto al piso de la cocina, lavar el contenedor de agua para llenarlo, tenemos dos tanques de agua en casa, pero para rendir el agua utilizo este envase cerca del fregadero, tengo que esperar que se llene, o si no, se me olvida. Me voy al cuarto a recoger los desórdenes y también limpio, y luego al otro cuarto.

Then it's time for the bathroom, living room and dining room, I pick up the mess, go to the balcony to water the plants and those in the rooms. While I do all this, my husband goes to take care of his mother who is sick. Then he goes up to the house, helps me with lunch and it's my turn to go to my mother-in-law's house and take care of her for a few hours, until my sister-in-law comes.

Después le toca al baño, sala y comedor, recojo los desórdenes, voy al balcón a regar las plantas y las que están en los cuartos. Mientras que hago todo esto, mi esposo se va a cuidar a su mamá que está enferma. Luego él sube a la casa, me ayuda con el almuerzo y me toca a mí ir a casa de mi suegra y la cuido unas horas, hasta que venga mi cuñada.

Although I was not prepared to go out of the building, I had to go down twice, taking advantage of the fact that grandma was sleeping. To do so, I had to walk down the long corridor and take the elevator. I had to deliver some products that my son sells. The first time I went down the stairs, to get to the elevator is farther, the customer could not wait long. At home again I take the clothes off the clothesline, fold them and put them away, I had to make some bags for the deliveries of the products, which I ran out of. At about half past six it's time for dinner, and thank God the day is coming to an end for today. A nice warm bath and rest.

Aunque no estaba preparada para salir fuera del edificio, tuve que bajar en dos oportunidades, aprovechando que la abuelita dormía. Para ello, tengo que recorrer el largo pasillo y tomar el ascensor. Tenía que entregar unos productos que vende mi hijo. La primera vez bajé por las escaleras, llegar hasta el ascensor es más lejos, el cliente no podía esperar mucho. Ya en casa de nuevo quito la ropa del tendedero, la doblo y guardo, me tocó hacer unas bolsitas, para las entregas de los productos, que se me acabaron. A eso de las seis y media toca la cena, y gracias a Dios se está acabando el día por hoy. Un buen baño tibio y a descansar.

My last drink of water, marks eleven o'clock at night, in the course of the day I can drink other liquids that also add to the cause. Good rest to all.

Mi último trago de agua, marca a las once de la noche, en el transcurso del día puedo tomar otros líquidos que también suman a la causa. Buen descanso para todos.
