A fresh flower always gives you a new lease of life. We should never underestimate the power of fresh flowers. Out of so many species of flowers displayed at the flower show, the moat I discovered was wax begonias. Infact it was my meeting, with the natural beauty. They were simple elegant and very attractive in own way. They grown smal in sizes and adding some vibrancy to the flower show.
There were two varieties of this plant in full bloom displayed at the show. While many people think of begonias exclusively as outdoor plants, these plants can also make excellent indoor plants. Adding a touch of natural magic to the internal looks. Wax begonias are not difficult plants to grow indoors. these plants offer bright indoor color during their flowering season.
Grown in small pots, they were actually a trat to the eyes. These plant does not have any fragrance but have the look at pull anyone attention. These plants features a compact, bushy shape with flesh stems, dark green or bronze waxy leaves, and loose clusters of flowers that bloom through summer and into fall. This is what makes it unique. Growing in cluster, they always looks attractive.
The plant is about six to 12 inches in height and produces some beautiful looking flowers. These plant is called wax begonia, because of the thick crisp waxy leaves. However the waxy leaves are mostly covered with the besutiful flower. As thy frow in have and dense cluster, covering the leafy portion.
The scientific name is begonia semflorence. The plants are toxic to pets if ingested, especially the root system. So while adding besuty to the place and you are a pet lovers keep these plant at a distant from the areas were pets were frequent.
One more noticeable aspect of these plant are their leaves. The leaves are comes in dofferrnt colors. While the red flower has green leaf, the pink shades has broken leaves. These contrasting color makes the flower more attractive.
It was great walk, and observing these natursl gifts is worth watching. I simply fall in love to this place. The more I look at them, the more I fell in love to them. Simply, nature are full of color and these plant are just a glimpse of it.
Peace!!
