En el mundo automotriz al igual que en muchos otros “mundos” podemos conseguir distintos “estragos” que hace la “moda”, pues de cierta manera, cuando algo se vuelve tendencia empiezan a replicar está indiscriminadamente en cualquier área de aplicación solo para estar en la misma sintonía de lo que pudiera ser la tendencia que corre.
Y es que al igual que la moda textil, estas pueden ser cíclicas por lo que es cosa de un tiempo para que pueda repetir nuevamente y se vuelva a “usar” algo que pueda servir de base para esto, y es que, si vamos a la realidad, es tal cual lo que pasa muchas veces en otras modas, pero siempre convergen en que esto “nuevo” cuesta quizás el doble de lo que pudieron ser las cosas antes.
En la actualidad quien no ha visto que por ejemplo hay camionetas sobretodo de la marca japonesa Toyota, en la que traen un par de “cocuyos” ámbar por la parrilla, o en algunos otros lados del frontal, para dar alguna sensación algo “premium” contra los modelos más sencillos, pero que, como cosa rara, estas ya se han replicado y distribuido en una variedad de “kits” para ser colocados en diversas marcas y modelos distintos.
Pero es que al menos a mí pensar si “la luz ámbar” hiciera o tuviera algún efecto más allá del mero estético, estaría de acuerdo con, pero estas solamente son para temas estéticos y poco más y ya es común ver como hasta en motos he visto que les agregan estos con tal de pertenecer a la tendencia, cosa que, entre ser una modificación no oficial, entre algunas veces ser una mala instalación y pare de contar veo muchas más desventajas que alguna ventaja.
No vale confundir estos pequeños cocuyos con los antiguos faros anti neblina que usaban los carros para situaciones particulares, o que incluso aquellos que tintaban sus faros para dar esa sensación de carro de rallies, pues en estos casos si poseen alguna finalidad práctica y generalmente su venta e instalación debían ser reguladas, cosa que en todo caso si tiene un cuidado.
Esperemos que en algún momento al igual que lo que pueden ser otras “modas” surja la tendencia de ser un buen conductor, y hacer uso de todos los medios correspondientes, respetar las señalizaciones y muchas otras cosas más que en la actualidad carecen mucho en mi país, puesto que la cultura de conducción es bien pobre o más que eso muy descuidada.

Nowadays, who has not seen that for example there are trucks, especially from the Japanese brand Toyota, which bring a couple of "cocuyos" amber by the grill, or on some other sides of the front, to give some feeling something "premium" against the simpler models, but, as a rare thing, these have already been replicated and distributed in a variety of "kits" to be placed in various brands and different models.
But at least to me, if "the amber light" had any effect beyond the mere aesthetic, I would agree with it, but these are only for aesthetic issues and little else and it is common to see how even on motorcycles I have seen that they add these just to belong to the trend, which, between being an unofficial modification, between sometimes being a bad installation and stop counting, I see many more disadvantages than any advantage.
It is not worth to confuse these small cocuyos with the old anti fog lights that used the cars for particular situations, or even those who dyed their headlights to give that feeling of rally car, because in these cases if they have some practical purpose and generally their sale and installation should be regulated, which in any case if you have a care.
Let's hope that at some point, as well as other "fashions", the tendency to be a good driver will emerge, and make use of all the corresponding means, respect the signs and many other things that are currently lacking in my country, since the driving culture is very poor or more than that, very careless.
