🦉 The great tit (Parus major)

One day in mid-April, I was leading an ornithological excursion on the outskirts of the city. And a group of people and I met an interesting tit in the forest. As you can see, she has white spots on her head, back and wings. This is called "leucism".
This is a mutation that causes partial loss of feather pigmentation. I looked up some information about this and here's what got me interested.
Such leucism most often manifests itself in populations of synanthropic birds, where inbreeding and “accumulation” of genes take place in the population. Quite often observed in sedentary groups of urban birds that annually occupy the same nesting/feeding territory.
And in a nutshell, this tit is clearly a city dweller, and lives exclusively in this forest, since there are plenty of feeders of people who feed them.
