Today, is one of those days that provoked me to drink coffee at dinner time, it was an uncontrollable urge, I know I can't drink coffee in the afternoon - evening. I consulted the opinions of my children, they immediately decided coffee with milk, but more than a coffee with milk I wanted something that would satiate me, and it came to my mind and why not a coffee bonbon, I had previously seen tutorials on how to prepare it, very easy to make, without many complications, best of all, that I had the ingredients at home, there was no need to go out.
I prepared myself and looked for the implements and ingredients: pot, strainer, strainer base, coffee jar, small spoon, coffee, condensed milk, cinnamon and water, of course. Afterwards, I placed the pot on the stove with a sufficient amount of water, don't ask me how much, I already have mine to the naked eye π, but it is approximately for 5 large cups, it would be about 1 liter and a quarter of water, when it boiled, I turned off the fire, put the sufficient amount of coffee, approximately 30 - 50 grams so that it would be pure, it all depends on the coffee you use.
I started my brew with the help of a cup, I was adding hot water to the strainer, it is wonderful when those exquisite and enveloping smells of coffee are released, in the environment I perceived the symphony of smell π that enveloped the kitchen and my senses were at their maximum, a pleasant and cozy atmosphere, so much so that there were Moors on the coast π€.
While the coffee was brewing, in my jumbo cup I put a good portion of condensed milk, if you don't like it cloying, you can just put, two spoonfuls; Once the brewed coffee was ready, I added the coffee little by little, this step is important, so that it retains the difference of colors, if you want you can consume it this way, without stirring, in my case I did it, I like it dissolved, with the help of a small spoon, I dissolved it, until it had the characteristic color of the coffee bonbon, which is the same coffee with milk, underneath you could feel that there was still creamy milk, to make it more attractive and appetizing, I gave it a touch of cinnamon, so it would look decorated, you can also add chocolate powder or bar, as I did not have, I was satisfied with the touch of cinnamon, which gave an incredible flavor to the coffee bonbon, finally the photos and tasting π.
What a delight, the first sip is wonderful, the mixture of flavors, the intensity of pure coffee with condensed milk, give a touch of bitterness and sweetness at the same time, my palate was satisfied and my family even more π. I accompanied it with my arepa with butter and fried egg, I'm not looking to eat healthy, when the desire tempts me π, I was just looking to satiate my desire and have my moment with my caffeinated drink, this pause that I give myself with my family is special, I just enjoy a moment of quality, talking and eating at the same time.
