I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.
The activity I involved myself today was in my smaller pen where I'm currently brooding my five days old birds. Currently I noticed that there are some holes that could give reptiles an access into the pen. I have these holes many so I am trying as much possible to make sure that most of these holes are blocked.
Moreso, there are some places that I covered with roofing sheets and when it's afternoon, the roofing sheet generates too much heat on the birds and these night caused heat stress. So I needed to removed it and replaced it with sacs that will only generate lesser heat than the roofing sheet.
But then before I do anything further I needed to bridge the gap between of the wooden pen wall with a plank before I place the sacs on it.
The step that I took would make the sacs not to generate heat like how the roofing sheets does.
