After a delightful afternoon at the charming flower cafe, I found myself still feeling hungry. A craving for durian began to bubble up inside me. This year had been a delightful parade of durian feasts, and I was eager to continue the tradition.

With that in mind, I set off toward the "Durianism Cafe," which was conveniently close by. The quaint streets of Phuket Old Town unfolded before me, each one a picturesque pathway that could be wandered through with ease. Here, it didn’t matter where you started; every road led to discovery.

As I walked, the vibrant colors and historical architecture of the town filled my senses, creating a perfect prelude to the durian treat I anticipated. The anticipation grew with each step, knowing that soon I would be at my destination, ready to indulge in the rich, creamy flavor of the durian that I had come to love so much this year.

When I arrived at the cafe, I opened the door, and the distinct aroma of durian enveloped the entire space. The quietness inside was immediately apparent, with no other customers in sight. I relished the thought of being a VIP by default in such a serene setting.

I ordered durian ice cream and durian sticky rice, anticipating the delightful flavors. The taste was incredibly sweet and perfect, each bite a symphony of creamy richness. For my drink, I chose a sweet durian matcha, which struck the perfect balance. The unique combination of durian and matcha created a harmonious blend that was both refreshing and indulgent.

I took my time, savoring the desserts and drinks I had ordered, relishing each bite and sip for as long as I could. The durian ice cream, sticky rice, and matcha were too delightful to rush through. After finishing my meal and settling the bill, I decided to explore the back of the cafe, where I discovered a beautifully decorated bathroom. The decor was so charming that it made for a perfect photo spot.

The cafe’s strategic location next to a bustling food court meant it had amenities catering to tourists, including this picturesque bathroom area. After capturing a few photos to remember my visit, I made my way back to the front of the cafe and stepped out into the vibrant streets of Phuket Old Town.

With a contented heart and a satisfied palate, I headed off to pick up my son from school, feeling grateful for the sweet moments and experiences that the day had brought.
