Visiting Prambanan Temple

in voilk •  2 months ago

Hello everyone. This time we visited Prambanan Temple, the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia, built in the 9th century. It is located in Yogyakarta Special Region, but the administrative entrance is in Surakarta Special Region, which is currently part of Indonesia's Central Java Province.

The photo above and some photos below show the many stones scattered outside the temple area. This creates a mysterious impression, as if these stones hold secrets from the past that are interesting to uncover. Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions destroyed the temple stones with their powerful force. Some of these stones are now buried in the ground somewhere, but some stones are still visible, but scattered outside the temple. This seems to be a silent witness to the natural tragedies that occurred over the centuries.

The path surrounded by this stone monument was filled with stones, but we were still able to walk while enjoying the view of the magnificent temple, which stands firmly within the ruins. The temple is a reminder of the power and beauty that stands the test of time, yet remains timeless.

The stone carvings are very interesting. Stone carvings are windows to the past, full of color and meaning, bringing to life ancient stories embedded in every pattern and detail.

The carved statues attached to the walls of the temple are also very attractive in the temple, demonstrating the skill and creativity of the ancient craftsmen who managed to immortalize the beauty and spirituality of the detailed and impressive stone strokes. is shown. These statues seem to be a window into the mysterious world and ancient stories hidden behind the history of this magnificent temple.

The creative art of the statues attached to the walls of the temple is truly amazing. With their fine detail and vivid expressiveness, these images reflect the masterful skill of ancient masters in capturing the essence of beauty and spirituality. Every line and stroke is so realistic that the statue seems to be singing about the beauty and meaning hidden behind it.

At this point, you can see the magnificence of the imposing temple as far as the eye can see. On the other hand, a large bell placed between scattered stones creates a mystical atmosphere, as if arousing surprise at this precious cultural heritage. These two elements combine to create an evocative view that invites us to reflect and appreciate the great history that lies here.

Meanwhile, the temple was clearly visible ahead. Looking at a windowless door gives a mysterious and intriguing impression, as if it holds a secret that can only be revealed by those willing to cross the line between reality and the paranormal.

This is a perspective of the front side of the temple face. It is an imposing structure with a solid, windowless main door. This view has a powerful and stunning effect, as if delving deeper into the meaning and beauty hidden behind the imposing walls.

    Looks very impressive and beautiful

When taken up close, this photo shows amazing detail in the carvings above the windowless door.

My journey ended outside the temple. So I walked around but didn't have the courage to go inside because I felt there was something supernatural there. I got goosebumps all over my body, so I didn't explore deep inside the temple and only took a few pictures from outside with my camera.

Thank you for following my visit. I hope this story can give you an idea of the beauty and mystery hidden behind the temple walls. See you on my next adventure!
