As You probably know if you have followed me for much time on this platform, I am a huge sports fan. My favorite team is the USU aggies. I have been going to their games since I was 3 years old. I love aggies games. I like all sports at the university but my favorite is basketball.
I have already written a bunch about this on threads and my other blog but I wanted to make one more post about the teamwork displayed but his team this year.
Here they are. The mountain west conference season champs.
Quick rundown.
Last year the aggies coach left. He got an awesome offer more than doubling his pay. I do not blame him for leaving. Money is good to get when you can.
Turns out all the players that have ever scored a point or completed an assist as an Aggie left as well.
So we had ZERO returning players that had ever done anything. I think we kept one red shirt guy.
In come the coach from Montana State, Coach sprinkle!
He brought a couple players and went out and recruited hard. He bought in a bunch of players that have never p[layerd together and built a team and preached to them about having each other back and putting in that work!
It worked. They work their butts off on defense and they are one of the most unselfish teams I have ever watched before. They work as one and the coach and point guard have everyone on the same page.
It so fun to watch.
I need to be a better team player.
