It is always important for us to acknowledge those who have in one way or another been an amazing part of our growth, not only are we acknowledging them, but it also makes us feel the need to extend the same hands of assistance to others as well, and the hive blockchain is one place I've come to get acquaintance with so many amazing personalities like never before in the online world. Before getting onboard Hive, I've had the web2 experience, even though we have lots of followers over there, we hardly make genuine connections like we do here, and that's the difference web3 brings through active and genuine engagement on author's post.

I've been on the blockchain for over one year now and so far I must say, it has been an amazing journey because of you all, yes you! Because we are the blockchain itself, our daily activities here are what keep the blockchain running, it amazes me every day how this blockchain has become an integral part of my life, that my friends and family always tease me about it, asking if my dad was the owner of nice lol, which I usually take my time to explain to them the beauty of decentralization the blockchain offers us.

All of the testimonies and growth I have today wouldn't have been possible if not for you all, my readers, critiques, encourages, curators, etc Thank you all! In line with the #MarchInleo monthly topic fitr today, Day 11, I would like to make a special shout out to a friend and a mentor here on hive in the person of @vickoly, I know he might be a bit surprised to get a mention from me, but I can't recount my progress here without acknowledging him, he was my very first tutor/instructor, thanks to the newbie's initiatives program that connected us, he was there at the very first few months to guide me on the basic knowledge, the do's and don't and how to thrive on Hive as a good content creator and engager, the results of those lessons are the result of the positive growth I've so far attained on the blockchain, even toll now, he never fails to grant a listening ear and also provide a solution when I seek guidance, as learning never stops.

Apart from being a good mentor, he is also a dedicated Hiver and prolific writer, he effortlessly takes you through the journey of his words in his writing that the event can be seen playing in your mind as every scene unfolds, I can never forget"The tale of vickoly, the sleepwalker" lol. Numerous times when I find myself stuck in writer's block, hurrying down to his post for the day inspires me, and in no time, the words flow.

I resolved this year to be a daily author, dedicated and more engaged on the blockchain because these are all the attributes I've watched him attained effortless, there is a common saying in my country that says "Follow who knows the road" so you don't get lost, and that's exactly how @vickoly is to be, I'm sure he would be proud of the hive daughter he raised.

Thank you @vickoly for all you do and still doing coaching this your hive daughter to growth, and being awesome yourself to be worth emulated, being disciplined, resilient also having a team spirit
continue being your awesome self and your may your limits be beyond the sky.
