We were hiking through the Ropojana Valley in search of the Kusije Waterfall. When we reached the spot where it was supposed to be, we were surprised to find no water flowing. We later discovered that the waterfall only runs in spring or after heavy rainfall. Disappointed but undeterred, we decided to follow the dry riverbed back, which led us to an unexpected marvel. We stumbled upon a place, overgrown with trees but spacious, where the riverbed widened into a flat expanse, filled with large, often egg-shaped stones. Each stone was shrouded in a lush carpet of green moss, creating a scene that seemed straight out of a fantasy movie.
