Each day is loaded with unique things and possibilities. The month of March was a special month for me. The month was loaded with a series of activities and achievements.
Going back to memory lane, I gained admission for my MSc program at a prestigious university in 2021, the journey seems quite long, I encountered a lot of challenges but I conquered it all.
Last month I traveled to run my molecular analysis at BABCOCK University, it was really a tasking one. I had to travel from Osogbo to Ibadan to pack all the samples I needed to work with. As early as 7 am the next day, I left Ibadan for Ogun state. It was my first time traveling down to BABCOCK University. On getting there, I was warmly welcomed by the scientist in the laboratory. I thought I would be done in 2days but it took me 4 days to complete the whole molecular process of the molecular analysis. My host cooked various delicacies for me and I enjoyed them a lot. On the last day, I decided to travel back to Ibadan. I got back to Ibadan late due to traffic but I'm grateful to God for the Journey's mercies.
After a week, I traveled back to Ibadan for my project defense. It was an external defense, the defense lasted for about 5hours. But it was a thing of joy that I finally completed my master's program after many years. I was so happy.
Also, this last month, my immediate sister had her wedding ceremony. It was indeed a big and colorful event. As the elder sister of the bride, I was ready to give it all my best. Two days ahead of the day, I already traveled home to assist them in preparation for the wedding day. Two cows were slaughtered and some bags of rice was cooked with other delicacies.
On the day of the event, I already woke up as early as possible to dress up, I ensured I dressed to my best for the occasion. The church wedding was slated for 11 am. It was really an awesome service. The service was held for 1 and a half hours. I love the fact that the service was short and not a lengthy one. I remember attending a church wedding where the church service took about 4 to 5 hours. The sermon alone took two hours. It was too lengthy that people already started dozing off during the sermon, even the groom started dozing off when it got to a point.
The reception was held around 12:30 pm, the hall was fully decorated and all musical gadget were already set. The musicians played so well, I really danced and danced. I danced that I was sweating profusely. After that we are all served various delicacies during the event.
Easter celebration was part of the event that also happened last month. It was indeed a wonderful one celebrating easter with my loved ones. I really enjoy myself and also had lots of fun
The month of March was a beautiful month for me and I believe the other month's will be more glorious.
