On Buddhist holy days, take the children to make merit.

Hello, today is Buddhist holy day. We Buddhists go to make merit at the temple. Today will be a special day because the school is closed for the semester. We took our little niece to go to the temple to make merit and refine her knowledge of making merit. Going to the temple to make merit, today we took both of them, Nong Nam Nueng and Nong Mina, but Nong Mina had me wait in the car because she's too young or she'd run around and run into her and break things. So we took a break, but Nong Nam Nueng went to give alms to monks, pay homage, and make merit. Let's go see the picture of Nong Nam Nueng giving alms to monks and making merit.

Arriving at the temple, I took Nong Nam Nueng to get some food from the container and put it in a bowl, both snacks and food. Then I gave it to Nong Nam Nueng to give to the alms bowl and then pour the water into the bait. It would be a routine for making merit. This is where you give alms, put rice in the alms bowl and water in a pitcher to offer to the monks. When finished, Nong Nam Nueng went to add 20 baht to the Kanthet. When finished, Nong Nam Nueng took the food and set it up in front of the seat. Yes, Sutta 2, then come and worship. In this temple area there will be Buddha images for us to worship. Today we will have Buddha images in various poses for friends to see and there will be... Phra Siwali and Luang Pho Sangkajai and the most special thing is Phra Upakut.
