Fourth Kedar Shri Rudranath Ji Yatra 25/05/2018 (Part-1)
Our car was moving from Chopta towards Sagar. I was engrossed in admiring the beauty of the dense forest on the way. It was also going on in my mind that some people say that climbing Rudranath and fighting with the Germans are equal. Let's see. I reached Sagar by 7.15 in the morning. As soon as I got down from the car, I met the two women from Malaysia and their guide. They were going to start the journey. First of all I had to take a bath. Negi ji's (former soldier) guest house is famous in Sagar. I went straight to his shop.
Where is Negi ji?

I want a room, it is for Rs 800. Come let me show you.
I said I don't want a room right now. I will just freshen up and leave for the journey. I will leave some of my bag stuff with you. I will stay with you for one night on my return.
He gladly accepted and opened a room. He said you can freshen up comfortably here.
By the time I freshened up and put away my luggage, Negi ji came and said we would like to have some refreshments. As soon as I said yes, he brought bread, butter and tea.
After having refreshments, I kept my luggage at Negi ji's shop and started my journey at 8 o'clock chanting Jai Shankar.

चतुर्थ केदार श्री रुद्रनाथ जी यात्रा 25/05/2018 (भाग-1)
चोपटा से निकल सगर की ओर हमारी गाड़ी बढ़ती जा रही थी. मैं रास्तो के घन्घोर जंगल की सुन्दरता को निहारने में मगन था. मेरे दिमाग में यह भी चल रहा था कि कुछ लोग कहते हैं कि रुद्रनाथ की चढाई और जर्मन से लड़ाई बराबर है. देखते हैं. सुबह 7.15 तक मैं सगर पहुंच गया. गाड़ी से उतरते ही मलेशिया वाली दोनों महिला व उनके गाइड से सामना हुआ. वे लोग यात्रा शुरू करने जा रहे थे. सबसे पहले मुझे स्नान करना था. सगर मे नेगी जी (भुतपुर्व सैनिक) का गेस्ट हाउस नामी है. मैं सीधा उनके दुकान मे गया.
नेगी जी कहा है.
तुरंत एक व्यक्ति अंदर से आया. बोला जय हिंद सर
जय हिंद, मैंने बोला
रुम चाहिए, 800/रु वाला है. चलिये दिखाते है.
मैने बोला मुझे अभी रुम नहीं चाहिए. मैं केवल फ़्रेस होकर यात्रा के लिए निकल जाउन्गा. मेरा बैग का कुछ सामान आपके पास छोड़ दूँगा. वापसी में एक रात आपके पास ठहरूंगा.
उन्होने सहर्ष स्विकार कर एक रुम खोल दिया. बोले आप यहाँ आराम से फ़्रेश हो ले.
मैं फ़्रेश होकर समान अलग किया तब तक नेगी जी आ गये, कुछ जलपान करेंगे. हा कहते ही ब्रेड मक्खन और चाय ले आए.
जलपान कर मैं समान नेगी जी के दुकान में रख जय शंकर का नारा लगाते 8 बजे यात्रा शुरू की.
