It's been a long time since I found this fly, a type of fly that eats flower nectar. Unlike some other flies that play in dirty places, such as black flies that eat organic waste.

Then what is the job of a fly that eats flower nectar as its food source. It doesn't like to perch in dirty and smelly places. The job of a fly is not much more noble than the job of a black fly that decomposes waste, the fly is tasked with pollinating. A job that is almost similar to the job of a bee.

I found this fly on a rice field embankment in North Aceh, Sumatra. Still with the characteristic buzzing sound of its flight, this fly was detected by me. However, this fly is still small, not like the ones I usually find, bigger than the fly I posted tonight.
