¡Mi bromelia floreció por primera vez!
Para los que cuidamos amor nuestras plantas, no hay nada más gratificante que verlas hermosas y florecidas; hay un algo mágico que nos llena de orgullo y satisfacción con esa hojita nueva o con el capullo de esa primera flor. Y es que sentimos que es la forma en que la naturaleza nos dice: "gracias".
Desde hace unos días vi brotar (por primera vez) los primeros indicios de que mi bromelia florecería y hoy decidí tomar unas fotos para compartir con ustedes. La verdad es que no tenía ni idea de qué clase de flores tendría porque esta es muy diferente a otras bromelias que he tenido y me ha sorprendido gratamente porque es rara y hermosa.
Cuando se la mostré a mi hijo dijo: "que flor tan psicodélica", mi hija exclamó: "¡que cosa más linda!" y yo no puedo parar de presumirla con todos los que llegan a casa. De verdad estoy muy feliz.

My bromeliad bloomed for the first time!
For those of us who take loving care of our plants, there is nothing more gratifying than seeing them beautiful and blooming; There is something magical that fills us with pride and satisfaction with that new leaf or the bud of that first flower. And we feel that it is nature's way of saying to us: "thank you."
A few days ago I saw the first signs that my bromeliad would bloom (for the first time) and today I decided to take some photos to share with you. The truth is that I had no idea what kind of flowers it would have because this one is very different from other bromeliads I have had and I was pleasantly surprised because it is rare and beautiful.
When I showed it to my son he said: "what a psychedelic flower", my daughter exclaimed: "what a beautiful thing!" and I can't stop showing it off to everyone who comes home. I'm really very happy.
