God is the greatest and he has pointed me to learn a lot about him from Bro Eli in the mass indoctrination.
Today's service was really amazing and a lot was learnt.
Many people kneel down to worship statues of different people. Some worship Mary, some cats, cows e.t.c but he Bible is telling us that we should not kneel down and worship and statue. Idolatry is a sin before God and it is a abomination.
Romans 1:25 says Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
We should worship the creator and not the creation.
Worship of idol have a deep effect and can corrupt even the soul and defile the conscience.
We should totally avoid things offered to idols, therefore we should not eat any food offered to an idol.
Only before God should we kneel down and worship his holy name.
The god of the Muslims is different from our God. In the Quran, it is said that the god does not beget a child but in the Bible, our God beget his son to come die for our sins and clean us.
Jesus was already in existence even before the world.
John 17:24 says Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
The son (Jesus) was te word seated in the bossom of the Father. Mary gave birth to the physical body but Christ has been before the world.
We should not eat food that is marked example, the Muslims mark their food which means that it has been presented to their god before they brought it to the market. We should eat food that don't have any mark on it. Food that has not been presented to any other god.
It is prohibited to eat blood. We should abstain from eating blood because it is a sacred thing which was used to clean our sins before Christ used his own blood to set us free from sins.
Leviticus 17:10 says: And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
There is a fierce purnishment by God to whosoever partake in eating blood.
Leviticus 17:13 says: And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
The blood should be buried and not eaten.
