Bring It On, Uptober [Goaling & Fam Time]

in voilk •  yesterday

    Hello, Saturday (sober day)😅

Yep, the weekend is officially here and we are just 2 days away from Uptober, whew! Most are expecting a more pleasant month ahead in the crypto market, hence "Uptober." My alter ego says bring it on! Like she is so ready for whatever comes👀

Well, not so much and I'm getting the FOMO feeling at times (surely, I'm not the only one). That thought of "I don't have enough of this and that" tend to disrupt my focus and makes me try to spread things too thinly (thinking it's a way to diversify). It's the devil in disguise so I do kick it right away, lol! I'm glad though that at least, the stakes within the chain are continually growing, albeit slowly.

The goal to increase the account's Hive Power to at least 25k by year-end is still a priority. As of this writing, my HP stands at 23,827 seeing an increase of 183 HP in a week (as usual from content and curation rewards plus the manually staked HIVE daily). With that, only a little over 1k HP is needed to cross it off. I think it's pretty manageable with three months remaining in the year and if HIVE doesn't fly high in Uptober. Although it would be nice if it does :)

Meanwhile, the initial target of 33k Leo Power has been reduced to an unknown number. I honestly haven't decided how much of it would make me feel accomplished when the year ends but will continue to add to it anyway. Currently have 21,138 LP with an addition of 50 LEO in the last seven days. A meager amount but still moved the numbers up, lol! Here's a sneak peek of the LEO that rolled in and staked during the week.

My savings on the other hand almost didn't move but I decided to add a bit (10) to it, ending the week with 1,335 HBD. At this rate, the 1.5k savings by December might not be met but it will still be okay.

Overall, things had been good during the week both onchain and irl.

We were home (at my parent's place) yesterday and spent some good, quality time with the family, even sharing my wildest dreams with my brother who is eight years my junior but an old soul. He certainly has achieved a lot in life more than I did yet still humble and supportive as always, often surprising me with his wisdom and encouragement that sometimes I wonder where he is drawing them from. He's like the family's yoda that even our old man listens to him, hehe.

Anyway, the fam time was lovely and it fed the soul. I'm happy and grateful.
