Everything that happened in 2024 has been converted into memories we can only reminisce about; some might be good and others might be bad. There are two memories I can never forget about; one makes me feel bad, and the other always makes me feel good.
Before I share these memories with you, I would like you to meet the writer of his blog. Hello reader, my name is Fashtioluwa. I feel happy to share these moments with you, so sit back and enjoy what you are about to read.
Let's talk about the moments I don't want to forget even in 2025. One of the moments I can forget was the time I met a young, beautiful lady named Tomiwa. We met on a Web3 platform, and on that platform, we started talking to each other via comments and sending emojis to each other. I thought to myself, "This lady seems like an amazing person." With a few conversations, I could tell how amazing and hardworking she was. We decided to share each contact so we can talk more in our DM. Even if we are hundreds of miles apart, I get inspired by her; she has become someone close I can share my plans, ideas, and how my day is going.
Another amazing thing about her is how hard-working she is. This lady works offline and is always active on Web3 platforms, wanting to learn more about crypto, and any chance she gets, she wants to take knowledge from you. I always enjoy talking to her because there is no dull moment with her. One thing I am happy about is that we both live in the same state but are far from each other, so by 2025, I will make sure we meet in the real world. After sharing the topic with her, this is what she has to say.
The other moment is one I would like to forget before 2025. I understand that people change, but I wasn't expecting such a drastic change from the one I call my childhood friend. Ok, this is what happened.
We both went for an interview, same job. I actually had something I was doing that was fetching me money, but the position that was opened was that of a manager for a company in Lagos. We both went and passed wonderfully. The HRM told us he would get back to us. After weeks of waiting, I lost hope, and my friend was also telling me how he lost hope too, only for me to find out later that he has gone for the second interview and has been chosen for the position.
Let's say he was meant to resume tomorrow; he gave me the information the night before he resumed the job. I felt bad because I would be happy for him definitely. At least one of the two jobless boys now has a job, but he kept many things from me when I was open to him. I stopped sharing my things with him since that day, and we both grew apart in knowing more about ourselves.
One thing you should know is that he isn't just a friend to me. He was already a brother to me because we grew up together, doing everything together, but life is always there to teach you some valuable lessons.
