Hello everyone and compliment of the season. How is everyone and family? The year 2025 will be a fruitful year for all of us.
Before I start my writing, I will like to thank #hiveleraners for this opportunity. I have been here for sometime now, and this contest is the running up till now. thank you everyone that supported this program.
One of the things I used to do in the year 2024 is the fear of failure. I had a plan to establish a business in my area in the year 2024. in the month of March, I had money that i could start a gas business in my area, and money to rent a shop in that environment. After I did business analysis, I realized that my gas business would yield profit. few days to get a shop, The following came to my mind:
What I did not get customers: I began to think about how to get customers. That was how I became convinced to go into the business. I thought about it for days; the landlordmof the shop I wanted to rent called me.
“Hello, are you not interested in the shop again? two people have come to me for the shop, if you are not interested again, let me know so that I can rent it out for those that needed it. I observed that you are a smart and industrious young man, and that ismthe reason I want you to rent it."
I replied him, I'm sorry sir, I will rent the shop but something came up.
After some weeks, he called me again, he Said he had rent the shop out.
I started spending the money, until I finished everything.
On August, I got the money again to start the business. I was searching for shop to rent, I was shown 3 available shops. I picked the one that is very good. it just left for me to pay the money because of I pay the money I would buy necessary equipment.
Though, I have prized those equipment with three big cylinders, and I had the money to purchase them. Since, I work in an office, I began to think that the salesperson I might employed might run away with my money;
that was my thought until something came up and I spent the money.
The Fear Of Failure
The fear of failure was all over me; I was afraid to take risk of which I knew that business men are risk takers. the fear of failure gripped my soul- therefore, all I cloud thought was failure.
in the month of September , a business man opened a glass business in my area. the location was not close to the main road where customer could patronize him, yet he was progressive in his business.
In December, he bought two additional big gas cylinders with the one he was using, started selling small gas cylinders and other things related to it.
When I asked him questions, I noticed he is making profit from the business.
within 3 months, his business grew sporadically. I never expected such progress within a short period of time.
My Goals Is The New Me
I find out that most people refused to start the business of their choice because of the fear of failure, procrastination, robbery, and other factors jus like me. I was focusing more of the negative impact which made my business dream not to be reality.
In year 2025, I have plan that whatever goals I'm going to set must be pursue to the end. I understood that the fear of failure and procrastination do more harm than good.
though, it is good to check the positive and negative parts of a business but I will not allow the negative aspect to take hold on me.
I would have been a man selling gas by now which would have added to my businesses.
I understand that failure is also part of business, there are many business men that have failed but yet they did not give up. This is going to be my watchword for year 2025.

The Wrong mindset about business creates obstacles in such a business: the wrong mindset I had created obstacles which made to failed in establishing the business.
I have a target to increase my Hive Power to 5,000 HP before the end of this year and grow my splinterlands account.
