today we are gonna to talk about the future of the world that is computer science,computer science grow with the fast moving lyf and bring an important impact to everyone lyf , the journey of computer science traced back to the invention of ABACUS upto the age of 5G technology,today we are gonna to talk about the important aspect of computer science i,e number system (computer numerical system,the question is wht is number system?
why we need this number system
a computer can understand only symbols called digits and these symbols describe different values depending on the position they hold in the number in general binary number system is used
BINARY NUMBER SYSTEM: it is represented by only two symbols i,e 0 & 1, mist be expressed in base 2 numbers system e.g (101)2 is a binary number
-why we need to convert binary to decimal number system?
because of computer programming application, so that the machine can understand only binary number system from 0 to 1 where as humans can understand easily decimal number system that includes all 10 digits
->BINARY TO DECIMAL:-
for eg 1001 is a binary number we have to convert this into decimal number system
ist we have to place values
8 4 2 1
1 0 0 1
cancel all values whose corresponding values is zero now we get 8+ 1 = 9
(9) is the decimal number which we get from binary numbers 1001
-> BINARY TO OCTAL
e.g
1 0 0 1
we have to make grouping of three
i,e 001+001
by adding 0's on left side had no impact on value
now place values
4 2 1 4 2 1
0 0 1 0 0 1
now cancel all values whose corresponding values are zero
we get 1 from ist three & 1 fom 2nd 3
i,e 11
now -> DECIMAL TO BINARY:-
e.g 23
place values
16,8,4,2,1
must not exceed the original value (23)
by adding 16+4+2+1=23
now change all taken values by 1 & place 0's which aren't taken
i,10111
->DECIMAL TO OCTAL:
itz quite simple ist convert the vale into binary then convert the binary value into octal which we already know
->OCTAL TO BINARY:-
e.g27
for 2 i,e 010
for7 i,e 111
by assigning values
i,e 010111 binary number of octal decimal 27
now we can convert any octal decimal number to any number system eg binary,decimal,octal decimal,hexagon decimal
