Godfrey took out a bottle of blood from his coat pocket and removed the cork and brought it to Benjamin's lips.
"Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Drink slowly so you don't feel sick."
"I think if I drink from your hand, I won't feel sick."
Godfrey smiled and tears welled up in his eyes as he was feeding the blood to Benjamin.
"I'm sorry, I should have come to see you earlier."
"It's okay. I know bad things have happened to you this time. In fact, I was the one who should have come to you and made you feel better. I am your creator and I am the one who should take care of you."
Godfrey raised his free hand and placed it on Benjamin's long silver hair and caressed it.

Benjamin drank the blood inside the bottle to the end and little by little the flesh filled the space between his skin and bones and with a satisfied smile on his face, he laid his head on Godfrey's leg and fell asleep.
