Hello friends. Today is holiday. April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. This week, there is a holiday celebration in every region of our country. Today, we celebrated April 23 Children's Day at Erasta Shopping Center, where my daughter was also performing.
April 23 is a special and meaningful day for my country. After the first world war; Every corner of my country was occupied. And a great struggle for existence began against the occupations under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The Turkish Assembly was established on April 23, 1920. The first step towards being governed by democracy instead of sultanate has been taken. And the country was saved from occupation. The great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk also gifted this meaningful day to children, that is, to the future.
On April 23, thousands of children from home and abroad celebrate together. Demonstrations are held in schools and city squares. My daughter also danced in these shows today. They did the dance we call Raks. We had the clothes specially tailored. They have been working for weeks. And today we went to the ceremony area very excitedly.
Children from dozens of different schools were dressed colorfully in the ceremony area. They were all excited and very happy. It was a program focused on fair game shows. Each school performed a play from a region. The shopping center was very crowded. There was great interest in the shows. We realized that the holiday had started with the sound of the first band.
At the ceremony, first of all, a moment of silence was observed for all the martyrs and veterans of the War of Independence. And the National Anthem was sung. Every show was very enjoyable. Families and visitors applauded the children. Our school's show was also very nice. The children got off the track with pride and happiness. The shopping center gave the children a movie ticket each.
As the children's song says;
"Happy April 23.
Rejoice, children,
Be proud, elders."
The children were very happy, we adults were very proud of them. We celebrated another holiday. I hope it will be celebrated forever. And the children celebrate every day.

Merhaba arkadaşlar. Bugün bayram. 23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı. Bu hafta ülkemizin her bölgesinde bayram kutlaması var. Bugün kızımında gösteri olan Erasta Alış veriş merkezinde 23 Nisan Çocuk Bayramını kutladık.
23 Nisan ülkem için özel ve anlamlı bir gün. Birinci dünya savaşı sonrasında; ülkemin her köşesi işgal edildi. Ve isgallere karşı Mustafa Kemal Atatürk önderliğinde büyük bir varoluş mücadelesi başladı. 23 Nisan 1920 de Türkiye Meclisi kuruldu. Artık padişahlık yerine demokrasi ile yönetilmenin ilk adımı atıldı. Ve ülke işgalden kurtarıldı. Ulu önder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk de bu anlamlı günü çocuklara yani geleceğe hediye etti.
23 Nisan'da yurtta ve yurt didindan gelen binlerce çocuk bir arada bayram yapıyor. Okullarda ve kent meydanlarında gosteriler yapılıyor. Bugün kızımda bu gösterilerde dans etti. Raks dediğimiz dansı yaptılar. Kiyafetleri özel olarak diktirdik. Haftalardır çalışıyorlar. Ve bugün çok heyecanlı bir şekilde tören alanına gittik.
Tören alanında onlarca farklı okuldan çocuklar rengârenk giyinmişlerdi. Hepsi heyecanlı ve çok mutluydu. Hakl oyunları gösterisi ağırlıklı bir programdı. Her okul bir yörenin oyununu sergiledi. Alış veriş merkezi çok kalabalıktı. Gösterilere olan ilgi fazlaydı. İlk bando sesisiyle bayramın başladığını anladık.
Törende ilk olarak tüm kurtuluş savaşı şehitleri ve gazileri için saygı duruşunda bulunuldu. Ve İstiklâl Marşı okundu. Her gösteri çok keyifliydi. Aileler ve ziyaretçiler çocukları alkışladılar. Bizim okulun gösterisi de çok güzeldi. Çocuklar gurur ve mutlulukla pistten indiler. Alış veriş merkezi çocuklara birer âdet sinema bileti hediye etti.
Çocuk şarkısında söylediği gibi;
"23 Nisan kutlu olsun.
Sevinin çocuklar,
Övünün büyükler."
Çocuklar cok sevindi, biz büyükler onlarla çok övündük. Bir bayramı daha kutladık. Umarım sonsuza kadar kutlanır. Ve cocuklar her gün bayram eder.
