Trying Starbucks coffee

    Happy New Year, coffee lovers!

Who doesn't recognize the logo of the famous American chain Starbucks? I think we can all recognize that logo thanks to the advertising they receive in movies and series. I don't know if there are any of these famous coffee shops in Venezuela, but I don't think so; however, in Argentina, where I now reside, there are.

The truth is that every time I pass by one of these places I wonder what makes it so popular or if it is only famous for the advertising it receives in the movies, but since drinking coffee outside the home is expensive, it was hard for me to take the step and try it. A few days ago we had an outing with friends and we decided that it was the perfect time to satisfy that curiosity.

We ordered coffee with milk and some bread with ham and cheese, the perfect combination to satisfy our hunger. I wasn't the one who placed the order so I couldn't tell you what they call this sandwich, nor was I the one who paid for the meal, so I couldn't tell you how expensive it is to eat at this place; what I can tell you is how it was.

The first thing that surprised me was the size of the coffee, because that huge cup you see in the photos is not the largest one you can order at the place, according to what my friends told me, this was the medium one. Its flavor was delicious, although too mild for my taste. Maybe the fact that it is a mild coffee is the reason why they serve such large presentations.

The atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy, and it also had charging points for my cell phone, which I really liked. They gave us our order very quickly even though there were a lot of people, and I also liked that.

I think the bread with ham and cheese was what I liked the most (but the truth is that I was very hungry), the bread was soft even though it wasn't a bread with much crumb; It wasn't ordinary bread, although I don't know what they call it, and it had plenty of filling, which is very important, hahaha...

In conclusion, it was a coffee without much in particular, but it wasn't bad; the sandwich was very tasty and the atmosphere was perfect for chatting and sharing with friends. I liked the size of the portions, which perhaps balances the scales regarding the prices.

In my opinion, I think it's not bad, but I also think that advertising helps a lot. I want to clarify that this is just my opinion and that this chain offers many other products that I haven't tried, so it might be a bit unfair to judge them based on this one experience.

In any case, I had a great time and I really enjoyed the coffee, the sandwich and the company of my loved ones.
