I walk for health & enjoyment. As I get back to this activity, I would like to walk for a minimum of an hour each day & I'm shooting for 10,000 steps.
On This Walk......
Today's walk was a bit different than usual, I had a doctor’s appointment today so that meant a break in between. The doctor’s office is right on my walking route, so it’s not out of the way or anything, just a little detour. I do continue my walk after the appointment.
The Music That Moves Me
Adding some of the music I listen to today.
As always, I start with what's playing when I start, then what's playing about halfway through, & end with what brings me home.
On March 20th I left at 7:53am and started out with a song called 'Everyday People' by 'Sly & The Family Stone’.
I got to thedoctor’s office at 8:07 am with 2201 activity steps & lfte the doctor’s office at 9:30 and was at 2524 activity steps and the song ‘All For You’ by “Janet Jackson was playing and continued as I returned to my walk.
At 9:49 is the halfway point today as I calculated by steps not time. With 4538 activity steps on the meter the song ‘Crazy In Love’ by ‘Beyonce’ was playing.
Finally, I ended my walk with 9203 activity steps when I reached my front door at 10:25am.The song that bought me home was ‘Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough’ by ‘Michael Jackson’
I did a little extra walking today, as my car was in the shop & I had to walk to pick it up. So with 9487 activity steps @1:38pm when I left out.and finished up with 12790 activity steps @ 2:23pm when I reached the shop. I did listen to some music but didn’t keep track as this was just some extra steps for the day.
It seems that no matter what I do I just can;t seem to get that 10,000 steps in my morning walk. But I’m not giving up, it’s a work in progress.
