Lo mejor de los tiempos actuales es que vivimos mano a mano junto a Las Mujeres, disfrutamos plenamente de ellas, de todas sus aptitudes, tanto las buenas como las crueles, el pasado de nuestra civilización actuó mal y nos cohibió de manera mal sana de disfrutar muchas de sus habilidades ya que estaban ahogadas en tiempos de Hombres, sin embargo son varias las mujeres que a través de la historia lograron dejar marca, una que en este caso no se borrara en las arenas del desierto de Egipto bajo los pies de Cleopatra.
Ancient Behaving Badly es una serie documental realizado por History Channel en la que tratan de narrar esa historia real de personajes históricos que ejercieron la crueldad para poder lograr sus objetivos, si eres fan de estos personajes reales y de la Historia de nuestra civilización a la vez que conocer el como vivieron, este programa es para ti porque te mostrara esos momentos en auge como en caída de todos ellos mas allá de lo que esta escrito porque recordemos que quienes escriben la historia son los vencedores y vaya que pueden manipularla a conveniencia.
The best thing about the current times is that we live hand in hand with women, we fully enjoy them, all their skills, both good and cruel, the past of our civilization acted badly and inhibited us in a bad healthy way to enjoy many of their skills because they were stifled in times of men, however there are several women who throughout history managed to leave a mark, one that in this case will not be erased in the sands of the Egyptian desert under the feet of Cleopatra.
Ancient Behaving Badly is a documentary series made by History Channel in which they try to narrate the real history of historical characters who exercised cruelty to achieve their goals, if you are a fan of these real characters and the history of our civilization while knowing how they lived, this program is for you because it will show those moments in rise and fall of all of them beyond what is written because remember that those who write the story are the winners and wow they can manipulate it at convenience.
En este capítulo nos dan a conocer la vida de Cleopatra, una reina que vivió en tiempos de Imperio Romano, si hubiera una serie de tipo comercial que encaje con este tipo de historias presentadas en este documental sería la de Game of Thrones, solo de escuchar los problemas familiares, las traiciones, los asesinatos, los incestos, el sexo que envolvieron la vida de Cleopatra y es revivir esos mejores momentos de GOT pero con una historia real.
Para poder plantear mi reseña sobre esta serie, voy a destacar los elementos que mas me cautivaron porque la sensación mas fuerte que tuve al ver este documental fue como si me trasladara a cuando era un niño y escuchaba en la televisión esas historias de Dioses Terrenales entregados al pecado:
- La Precisión Histórica del Documental:
Si algo tienen las películas y series es que los directores y guionistas crean diálogos y dramas para poder mantener entretenido al máximo a una audiencia pero este documental se enfoca no en lo banal de la vida de Cleopatra, en este episodio se esfuerzan por comprobar lo real que aquellos escribas romanos dejaron en papel sobre la vida de esta Reina Faraona.
Por ejemplo se puede comprobar que ella no era amada por muchos romanos de la época a un punto que la detestaban por la forma en que manipulo gobernantes de poder como Julio Cesar, La Reina Prostituta le decían, por tanto mucha de la información en escrito se debe comprobar porque muy probablemente este manipulada para manchar su nombre, esto es lo que hacen en el programa y me agrado ese enfoque de comprobar lo real sobre lo que se cuenta.
Por ejemplo se dice que era preciosa pero cuando vamos a lo real, a las monedas de la época en que vivió las cuales tienen tallada su rostro, se evidencia que una belleza universal no era, estos son detalles importantes porque quienes realizaban las monedas, las hacían con el mayor detalle del rostro que troquelaban en ellas.
In this chapter we are introduced to the life of Cleopatra, a queen who lived in the times of the Roman Empire, if there was a commercial series that fits with this type of stories presented in this documentary would be Game of Thrones, just to hear the family problems, betrayals, murders, incest, sex that involved the life of Cleopatra and is to relive those best moments of GOT but with a real story.
In order to give my review of this series, I will highlight the elements that captivated me the most because the strongest feeling I had when watching this documentary was as if I moved to when I was a child and listened on TV those stories of Earthly Gods delivered to sin:
- The Historical Accuracy of the Documentary:
If there is something about movies and series is that directors and screenwriters create dialogues and dramas in order to keep an audience entertained to the maximum but this documentary focuses not on the banal of Cleopatra's life, in this episode they make an effort to prove the real thing that those Roman scribes left on paper about the life of this Pharaoh Queen.
For example it can be proven that she was not loved by many Romans of the time to a point that they detested her for the way she manipulated rulers of power as Julius Caesar, The Prostitute Queen they called her, therefore much of the information in writing should be checked because most likely this manipulated to tarnish her name, this is what they do in the program and I liked that approach to check the real on what is told.
For example it is said that she was beautiful but when we go to the real thing, to the coins of the time in which she lived which have her face carved on them, it is evident that she was not a universal beauty, these are important details because those who made the coins, made them with the greatest detail of the face that they stamped on them.
- Cualidades Reales del personaje Histórico Cleopatra:
Como el documental se enfoca o hace un esfuerzo por demostrar lo real de esas historias escritas sobre ella, podemos separar lo que es la leyenda de sus cualidades en vida real, seis de ellas resaltan y son una maravilla a medida que conocí su personalidad durante el episodio.
La seducción, la sensualidad, el sexo son tres de ellas que como mujer en su juventud debía aprovechar, eran tiempos en que dominaban los hombres y Cleopatra con inteligencia aprovecho esas tres virtudes para poder dominar emperadores y manipularlos, se nota que era de las mejores en ellas ya que tal vez no era la mas hermosa pero si esta demostrado que cautivo a Julio cesar y sobre todo a Marco Antonio, esto es innegable y lo demuestra con hechos histórico la serie.
Cruel, Calculadora y Fría para la toma de decisiones sobre lo que era necesario hacer para mantenerse como Faraona, esto lo demuestra los asesinatos que ejerció sobre su familia, de hecho la serie tiene el objetivo de demostrar su instinto asesino, su psicología para ejercer actos de maldad y es analizada por un profesional en la materia que nos da su opinión en el documental.
- Real qualities of the historical character Cleopatra:
As the documentary focuses or makes an effort to show the real of those stories written about her, we can separate what is the legend from her qualities in real life, six of them stand out and are a wonder as I got to know her personality during the episode.
Seduction, sensuality, sex are three of them that as a woman in her youth should take advantage, they were times when men dominated and Cleopatra with intelligence took advantage of these three virtues to dominate emperors and manipulate them, it is noted that she was one of the best in them since perhaps she was not the most beautiful but it is demonstrated that she captivated Julius Caesar and especially Mark Antony, this is undeniable and demonstrated with historical facts the series.
Cruel, calculating and cold to make decisions about what was necessary to do to stay as Pharaoh, this is demonstrated by the murders that she exercised on her family, in fact the series aims to demonstrate her killer instinct, her psychology to exercise acts of evil and is analyzed by a professional in the field that gives us his opinion in the documentary.
- El Entusiasmo de Los Egiptólogos:
Este aspecto fue de lo que mas me maravillo en el documental porque inclusive hay una parte en el que el Egiptólogo con Phd Bob Bianchi cuenta con una euforia los dramas y teatros de la reina Cleopatra y lo expresa no solo con su voz si no con sus movimientos corporales, un entusiasmo que llego a mi como espectador y fan de la historia.
Un Documental que recomiendo ver y va dedicado a las mujeres por su recientemente celebrado día de la mujer el 8 de marzo para que conozcan esta Reina que uso sin piedad su verdadero poder y todo lo que aprendió de su entorno para no solo sobrevivir, inclusive logró mover los cimientos de toda Roma, lograr domar un emperador y ser Cleopatra La diosa Terrenal de Egipto.
Dedicado todos y cada uno de mis post y videos a mi perrita llamada princesa que la llamábamos chiquito que ya no está con nosotros pero desde el cielo verá que su existencia SI fue valiosa y lo más hermoso que existirá en mi corazón y alma.
- The Enthusiasm of the Egyptologists:
This aspect was what amazed me the most in the documentary because there is even a part in which the Egyptologist with Phd Bob Bianchi tells with an euphoria the dramas and theaters of Queen Cleopatra and expresses it not only with his voice but with his body movements, an enthusiasm that reached me as a viewer and fan of history.
A documentary that I recommend to see and is dedicated to women for their recently celebrated women's day on March 8 to know this Queen who ruthlessly used her true power and everything she learned from her environment to not only survive, even managed to move the foundations of all Rome, to tame an emperor and be Cleopatra The Earthly Goddess of Egypt.
