Una mañana de ambulatorio y farmacia [Esp/Eng]

Saludos queridos amigos, feliz inicio de semana para todos, espero estén pasando unos excelentes días de carnaval en compañía de sus seres queridos, en esta oportunidad que comentarles que para iniciar mi samana me tocó visitar el ambulatorio del pueblo por la parte de emergencia la cual está activa las 24 horas, pues desde hace un par de días para acá mi esposo ha estado con malestar en un oído, y pues como todo hombre se hace el fuerte y no le gusta ir al médico. El fin de semana paso tomando pastillas para el dolor y por la noche durmió muy poco y pues de tanto insistirle de ir al médico cedió el día de hoy lunes en la mañana.

Greetings dear friends, happy beginning of the week to all, I hope you are having a great carnival days in the company of your loved ones, in this opportunity to tell you that to start my samana I had to visit the ambulatory of the people for the emergency part which is active 24 hours, because for a couple of days ago my husband has been with discomfort in one ear, and as every man is strong and does not like to go to the doctor.
He spent the weekend taking pills for the pain and at night he slept very little and after so much insisting to go to the doctor, he gave up this Monday morning.

En primera instancia fuimos al ambulatorio más cercano pero estaba cerrado y sugirió irnos a casa pero yo le comenté lo delicado que es el oido y es mejor tratarlo a tiempo, así que nos fuimos al otro ambulatorio el cual posee un ala de emergencia, Lo acompañé a pesar que no me dejarían pasar con el, y nos tocó esperar un rato pues estaban algunos pacientes esperando , pero luego de un rato lo atendieron y tenía una inflamación en el oído medio y una pequeña infección por lo que le indicaron, antibiótico, antiinflamatorio, y gotas para el oido y gotas nasales. Aprovechando que era temprano en la mañana y mi suegra estaba al cuidado de los niños nos fuimos a cambiar para ir al centro de la ciudad en búsqueda de los medicamentos.

In the first instance we went to the nearest clinic but it was closed and he suggested going home but I told him how delicate the ear is and it is better to treat it in time, so we went to the other clinic which has an emergency wing, I went with him even though they would not let me go with him, and we had to wait for a while because there were some patients waiting, but after a while they attended him and he had an inflammation in the middle ear and a small infection so they prescribed antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and ear drops and nose drops.
Taking advantage of the fact that it was early in the morning and my mother-in-law was taking care of the children, we went to change to go downtown to look for the medicines.

Las gotas nasales ya teníamos en casa pero nos faltaba todo lo demás, por ser día de asueto no todas las farmacias estaban laborando pero en la que estaba de turno encontramos el ibuprofeno de 800mg en 1$ la tableta de 10 pastillas,y las gotas en 6,5$ el antibiótico no lo conseguimos. Pero por lo menos inicio su tratamiento el día de hoy con los medicamentos que conseguimos , es increíble que casi me toca obligarlo a ir al médico y ve lo que resultó ser.

The nasal drops we already had at home but we were missing everything else, because it was a day off not all pharmacies were working but in the one that was on duty we found the 800mg ibuprofen at $ 1 tablet of 10 pills, and the drops at $ 6.5 the antibiotic did not get it.
But at least he started his treatment today with the meds we got , it's amazing that I almost had to force him to go to the doctor and see what it turned out to be.

Muchas veces nos enfrascamos tanto en ponernos como último en todo, en no tomar un tiempo para nosotros para cuidarnos , no nos gusta faltar al trabajo pero no pensamos que si nos cuidamos podremos estar bien , rendir y trabajar mejor.

Many times we get so caught up in putting ourselves last in everything, in not taking time for ourselves to take care of ourselves , we don't like to miss work but we don't think that if we take care of ourselves we can be well , perform and work better.
