It's the last week of this year, and for many of us, it's hard to believe we almost crossed another year. 2024 is nearly ready to say goodbye to us and few days remaining of the year. It's like 2024 finished within a few blinks, but 1 year is not a little time. We promised many things to ourselves at the start of the year. Some were fulfilled, and some were yet to be fulfilled (maybe next year).
One year means 365 days, and many incidents occurred during that time, and it's hard to remember each incident. We can remember only the significant incidents in the year, and those can be good and bad.
I already mentioned in my several posts that this year was the most stressful year of my life, and I hope no upcoming year will be as stressful as this one. Although it was stressful, I don't think it was a bad year, and some good things happened during this year. I think exams, practicals, and my research paper made my time stressful, and I agree half of the year was very hard for me.
There were few activities this year. So I think I can remember most of those. The most significant incident of my life took place this year, and it's the finishing graduation. Normally graduation ends within 4 years, but in my department, it took almost 7 years. Can you imagine 3 years we lose for nothing just because of the laziness of professors? I don't know if I can recover from the loss of 3 years at any time. In the last 3 years we were desperately waiting to see when we would be graduating, and this year it happened, and it gave me the feeling that I became free from the burden. Several times I regretted studying in the department because it did not give me a good feeling when I saw my batchmates complete graduation early just because of reading in a different department. Even junior batchmates also graduated early before me, and it didn't give me any good feeling, as I always wanted to graduate early and find a job to take care of the financial matters of my family. But my online earnings helped me not to take a lot of pressure. So, I think it's the greatest achievement of this year for me, even if it came 3 years late. Again, this achievement is also kind of a regret for me because it will remind me that my 3 years were wasted for nothing. Whatever, it's past now, and that's the relief.
I think you already know that our X prime minister run away from the country who tried to dominate the general people by playing a dominating role, and we didn't have the right to speak freely when it was against the government. Students were the reason we could come out from the domination, and as I also played a role in the student protest, it's one of my achievements for me, although it's a combined achievement of all achievements. Regaining the freedom of speech is very important, and it was a very special feeling, and I won't forget the feeling anytime. It's a historic moment for my country as well as for me.
I think there are some more incidents that happened this year but the mentioned two incidents was the most significant ones for me.
