Reading books are one of the best way into the beautiful and mystical world that's filled with wisdom & knowledge. While understanding depends on how deeply you are able to digest the information.
There's a saying that if you want to keep anything from a man you keep it inside a book. I don't think it's 100% true, but to some extent it is actually the bitter truth.
The way the world functions today i believe stems
from how broken and crippled educational system has been from the onset.
I know that nothing is ever going to change some people to cultivate the art of reading. It's a choice we have to make for ourselves.
To be honest you can't blame anyone for not cultivating the art of reading because it's tiring, exhausting and in general...boring to stare at tiny letters all day trying to use every word to create a new world in your own way.
But some of us like this boring lifestyle. I won't even say I like it that much but it gives me peace of mind away from the stress of everyday struggle which to some degree is not so boring but rather soothing to the mind, body and soul. The last one is essential to successful living.
This week, I don't know which book to read because I've read all the books I've bought since last year. Actually, I only have read the interesting ones and just leave the uninteresting ones to a day that I'll find the motivation to go through them and hopefully I'll get to enjoy them.
I've not even bought any book this year except the alchemist which I've only read once and it's was enjoyable to some extent. It's like a live story and also a real life scenerio that talks about omens and all sort of blindspots we living being seems to ignore.
Reading good books I think is a good thing and to adopt.
Regardless I think rereading the ones I already have is the best way to jump-start my reading habit and retrain my brain back to the way its supposed to be.
Without further ado, I'll like to talk about some points from the 5am club. I've read this a long time ago and I am yet to read it to the end, call me lazy but I'll try to wrap it up before the moths ends. After this I'll share my thoughts about the alchemist which is really a book y'all should read.
Weekend book recommendation - 5am club
This book talks about the importance of waking up early and setting your day in motion while others are still asleep. However it was written like a story being told to two people from a master whose name is ...... 😂And the other two are an artist and the other a business owner.
Both of them are looking for a way to make their life more productive. But they have little or let's say slight differences in the sense that the man which is an artist is not that in a good condition to make art the way he wants while the lady is already thriving financially but she still feels there's something missing due to how much workload she's being faced with and also she had a lot of issues with her board members which is really making her feel like she's about to lose her company.
The philanthropist which also is in a similar situation told them that for them to be able to master their craft they need to make sure they are among the early riser and plan their day ahead.
If we are being honest the first two hours of the day from 5 to 7am can say a whole lot about how your day would look like because once you start the day with joy, love and happiness then the rest of the day is meant to go like that and even if there's a little hiccups or obstacle along the way, it'll be my h easier to maneuver and find your way back to your normal state.
There's a whole lot inside the book that speaks positivity that I honestly can't recall except I reread it again which I don't want to do right now while writing. But I can say it with my full chest that if you want to peek Into the world of productivity and all round fulfillment then the 5am club is worth reading.
