It's Sushi Time!

    Hello, friends especially foodies!


    Going to a popular place to have sushi with someone special must be a one thing for everyone...... and i got this experience recently. I took mommy (my late mother's best friend) to a popular sushi restaurant.


    As i said to you this restaurant is popular so it didn't surprise me that by the time we arrived there, it was just around 5 pm and guess what? the restaurant was full.

    Their dining areas were full. Even it happened to the area in front of it too. Yes, right next to it, separated from the main dining area they also had a dining area too. And it was also full.

    Even you could find some of the standing customers in front of the restaurant, they were on the waiting list, so did us. We also needed to wait there to be seated.

    There was a small monitor which showed the number of the waiting list customers, which they would call twice then they would pass the seats to the other customers.

    Of course we didn't want to miss any chance to have our sushi dinner there, so we didn't stand far from their entry gate and while waiting, we saw their menu.

    The menu that they had:

    • For sashimi, they had salmon, maguro and tobikko.
    • For gunkan, they had kanicorn, tobikko, tuna salad, chuka iidako, chuka wakame, chuka chinmi, chuka kurage, kanimayo, and spicy chuka chinmi.
    • For donburi, they had chicken teriyaki don, crunchy enoki beef blackpepper don, chicken karaage don, spicy ten don, yakiniku don, crispy salmon mentai don, spicy yakitori ju, and chicken katsu don.
    • For nigiri, they had quite large variants of it. From variant of salmon sushi, maguro, tamago, inari, kani, ebi and so on.
    • For makimono, they also had a quite large variants of it so i won't mention them all. Some of them that caught my attention were spicy ebi fried roll, shiromi chips roll, spicy crunchy iidako roll, oase roll, salmon tori roll, kanimayo lava roll and others. You better come to see them yourselves.


    Finally, after 5 customers before us called then it was our turn. Oh la la, when we entered the restaurant it was still crowded inside. Some waiters served the customers...

    The sushi walked in the conveyor belt. They were hygienic cause they had a transparant plastic cover and good thing was they were freshly made.

    First we chose two kind of makimono. We had the greeny one called shiromi chips roll and kanimayo mentai roll.

    Shiromi chips roll had ebi tempura, tobiko (fish egg) and mayonnaise sauce plus nori (seaweed) powder. It had tasty savory sweet and sour flavour. Plus it had chips on its' top.

    We also had kanimayo mentai roll which had vegetable salad as its' filling, rolled with nori and had mentai sauce on the top. Fresh, it had tasty sweet and sour flavour.

    Next, we took the aburi salmon tuna salad cheese sushi. Had salmon and tuna composition but it wasn't fishy at all. Even tasted so fresh, a perfect combo of salmon tuna and cheese in a sushi.

    We then also had aburi salmon inari mentai sushi.

    This contained inari, sushi rice, salmon and mentai sauce. It had tasty savory flavour.


    One of the best sushi was yet to come. It was what looked like volcano with raw salmon around it. I didn't know the name of it because it was not written on their menu book.

    It was super tasty with fresh salmon in it and spicy sauce with sushi rice of course. It was unforgettable and even i could feel it while i am writing this article. haha.


    And they also didn't mention it in their menu.

    This sushi roll had tamago (egg), kani (crabstick), chicken katsu and nori inside. It had lots of fried things on the top. It had tasty savory flavour.


    We also ordered some from their menu book that were not ready on the belt, they were:

    Gekikara tori roll

    It had raw salmon and tobiko on the top with salad filling. So it had a complete flavour of savory, sweet and sour. Fresh an tasty!

    It had tasty corn and crabstick upon the sushi rice and wrapped with nori. With the taste of sweet and sour, it was so fresh and tasty, of course.

    Last, we also had

    Spicy salmon green mayo

    It had chili on top with salmon, tamago, cucumber and nori as its' filling. It had tasty complete flavour of savory, spicy, sweet and sour.

    So the time of waiting would pay off when you have their sushi, and yes i highly recommend this place if you want to have tasty affordable sushi.

    Now,let me tell a bit about their price before i finish this article.

    There they had the plates with colors, which showed the price.

    Yellow stood for 10K IDR, red for 15K IDR, blue for 20K IDR and black for the 25K IDR. Their free flow ocha was just 3K IDR. I thought those price were affordable and reasonable.

    So when will you come there and try their sushi yourselves?
