This post will be my entry for @photofeed macro photography contest If you wish to join the contest please kindly read and follow the rules and guidelines here for Contest Round 109
For this week's contest, I have another spider for my entry. I am so happy that sometimes it is quite easy for me to find the jumping spider and then use it as my entry for the contest.
This spider is most likely to be one of the species from the Cosmophasis family. Cosmophasis is a genus of spiders in the family Salticidae (jumping spiders). They are predominantly Southeast Asian, while some species occur in Africa and Australia. Although most species more or less mimic ants, there are also colorful species that follow a different strategy.
I will use the first photo below as my entry for this week's contest.
This spider is an average size when I found then in one of the new places that I checked out for a short macro photo hunt, and I am planning to go there again in the future.
It has a black color abdomen, with some white and golden or orange stripes and spots as well. while its head is mostly orange to golden in color.
