Seeing this enthusiasm, I remember a moment that I did last year when I was going to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The country of Malaysia is known for its multi ethnicity. So, there is one area that is an interest tourist destination in Kuala Lumpur that can't be missed. May, you have often heard about Batu Caves, an area where Hindus live in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Batu caves is a place where many Hindus live and one of the most famous places of worship. You can using KTMB and arrived to Batu Gombak to get there.

Batu Caves is a place that is believe to be a sacred place for Hindus, consisting of a very large caves, located on a high limestone hill, Batu Gombak. This place is an tourist destination in Kuala Lumpur city, I think that everyone who stops in Kuala Lumpur definitely visit this place. My trip to Kuala Lumpur last month, it was only for 1 day, I took the time to go to Batu Caves cause the last time I went there in 2013. It's been almost 10 years and I miss that experience.

At Batu Caves, you will see a very sacred place, busy and even full of visitors. But this time it was interesting, I came at the right time, it looked very quiet and interestingly, I was able to take photos very far from the crowds. I even saw several rituals carried out by Hindus there, they had been carrying out rituals since early morning and many people had not even woken up.

At 07.00 am, I arrived at the entrance to Batu Caves, because our hotel was next to this temple and only a 2 minute walk. Even though last night was very busy and hectic because I almost missed the last KTMB schedule. From the entrance I saw the tallest Murugan statue in the world with my own eyes.

Seeing that there were many pigeons and doves perched on this land, waiting for anyone who was kind enough to feed them. This bird is an attraction that you can use to have fun, there is someone selling bird food and it is good for you.

    Climbing 272 Stairs

Besides that, there is a temple filled with statues and filled with colors and figures. Before you have to climb the 272 steps, you can look around Batu Caves and find several temples used for sacred rituals of prayer. Without charge, you can enjoy Batu Caves for free, unless you bring a car, motorbike or bus here, then there is a parking fee for that.

Arrows that can be a guide for you to find out what you can visit here. What's more, there's a lot of information you can get so you don't get lost, because Batu Caves is really very large.

Then I climbed the stairs which made my feet and calves sore. The whole leg felt like I was doing a very large squad. The thing you have to pay attention to when climbing the stairs is so that your feet don't slip, especially so that you don't get disturbed by the monkeys around Batu Caves.

From here, you can see the steps in full color, without many people passing by, really to get a view like this you have to let go of waking up early in the morning. With a very fresh atmosphere, quite a lot of wind and very sunny weather. At least, the steps are not so slippery when walking.

I took the time to take a photo in the middle of Batu Caves, showing the very sturdy and shining Murugan statue. I love this place at times like this. Don't forget to be grateful to be here to learn a lot of new things. Especially about the customs, tribes and culture of other ethnic groups. I think you should wear modest clothes to visit a sacred place like this.

On another occasion, I will tell you about an interesting experience while in Batu Caves! For now, that's it for now, OK, Hive Friends?!

See you the next time hive friends!
