Yesterday afternoon I was commissioned to make a banner that had the whole alphabet and also had drawings illustrating each of the letters.
A long time ago I used to make school posters but I abandoned that job because it takes a lot of time and the people around me are not willing to pay so much for a school job.
It took me a long time to do it because I was 100% dedicated to make it as perfect as possible but when it came time to pay, all the effort was not justified.
So I preferred to leave that aside, until yesterday when Elieska asked me to make this poster for her to place it in the academy. They are giving school reinforcement classes there, so it is necessary to have this kind of tools to teach the children in a simpler way.
I started today at 2 o'clock in the afternoon to make all the base lines, then I traced each one of the letters and finally I could start with the painting. I had to stop because my back hurts terribly after those 5 hours sitting down to work.
It is true that manual works take a lot of work, and we must put a price according to the effort and dedication we put into it. I will tell you later how it turned out and the whole process in detail. For now we are going like this and I feel it's looking pretty cool, although I accidentally dropped the brush and stained areas that should have been white hahaha 😓
I'll see how to fix this later. ☺️
Ayer por la tarde me encargaron hacer una pancarta que tuviera todo el abecedario y que además tuviera dibujos que ilustraran cada una de las letras.
Hace mucho tiempo yo trabajaba haciendo láminas escolares pero abandoné ese trabajo porque lleva muchísimo tiempo y las personas de mi entorno no están dispuestos a pagar tanto por un trabajo escolar.
Yo me demoraba bastante tiempo haciéndolas pues me dedicaba al 100 para que quedara lo más perfecta posible pero a la hora de los pagos, no se veía justificado todo el esfuerzo.
Así que preferí dejar eso a un lado, hasta ayer cuando Elieska me pidió que le hiciera está lámina para colocarla en la academia. Allá se están dando clases de refuerzo escolar, por eso es necesario contar con esta clase de herramientas para enseñar a los niños de manera mas sencilla.
Empecé hoy a las 2 de la tarde a hacer todas las líneas de base, luego fui trazando cada una de las letras y por fin pude iniciar con la pintura. Tuve que detenderme porque me duele terriblemente la espalda luego se esas 5 horas sentada trabajando.
De verdad que los trabajos manuales llevan mucho trabajo, y debemos colocarle un precio acorde al esfuerzo y dedicación que se le pone. Ya luego les iré contando cómo quedó y todo el proceso a detalle. Por ahora vamos así y siento que está quedado bien chévere, a pesar de que sin querer se me cayó el pincel y manché en áreas que debian ir blanco jajaja 😓
Ya veré como soluciono esto más adelante. ☺️
