The crypto project I’m most bullish about at the moment are Ordinals on the bitcoin blockchain.
Ordinal Inscriptions, similar to NFTs, are digital assets inscribed on a satoshi, the lowest denomination of a Bitcoin (BTC). People are inscribing all sorts of things: text, audio, pictures and even small computer games.
There is a vibrant community of creators, collectors and traders. There are some well established marketplaces, like Magic Eden, offering Ordinals.
These pictures on the blockchain are not worthless. Let me give you an example using one of the pictures that is in my personal wallet.
I bought this Bitcoin Frog a year ago for around 0.004 BTC
Bitcoin Frogs are now a Top 10 collection on Magic Eden with a Floor Price of 0.175 BTC (not selling my valued frog though).
People are inscribing daily and it’s interesting to see what type of collections are being created.
At the time of writing there is a specific project I’m very bullish about, created by the Dutch studio Orange Farm: BTC Bulls 2,100 pixel art Bulls with a free mint on February. I’m on the whitelist and hope to mint a few bulls myself.
Last year Orange Farm released Ordinal Bulls very limited collection with 210 bulls, a high quality pictures that would be very costly to inscribe now.
Some see Ordinals as stupid worthless pictures. When you look closely though (for example at mints and markets) you’ll see that there is value in them. Every reason to be bullish about Ordinals!
