The Making Of My Pawpaw and Tumeric Bathing Soap, For A Natural Fresh And Glowing Skin.

Warm greetings and a happy Sunday, everyone. This week went by so fast, just like a twinkle of an eye. I can't believe it's Sunday already. So Sunday is for relaxing, spending quality time with my family, and trying out creative activities.

In today's #creativesunday, I will be showing you how I remake my bathing soap with pawpaw and turmeric, something I wished I had been doing a long time ago; it would have saved me a lot of stress from my dry skin condition and pimples on my face and saved me more money as well. If you experience a dry skin condition or simply want natural glowing skin, then this post is for you because I might just be about to give you the best Christmas gift ever.

Dry skin condition and pimples on my face are something I have had to deal with for such a long time. Until a while ago, I thought of going this DIY way, and I'm so proud of myself that I did.

Initially, I used pawpaw and turmeric powder as face masks. I would take a slice of ripe pawpaw, add half a spoon of turmeric powder, I would mash it together, rub part of the paste on my face, and then wash it off after ten minutes. I usually do this three times a week.

This works so well with my skin; pimples were no longer my problem, so I thought, why don't I extend it to the rest of my skin? About two months ago, I started using this as my bathing soap, and the results have been mind-blowing; this Sunday, I'm making another batch, so I thought I would share it with you.

✓ My usual bathing soap, I used Baby Causon soap, so here I used two. One can use soap base as well.

✓ A slice of ripe pawpaw

✓ one spoonful of turmeric powder

✓ half a spoonful of coconut oil; you can use any body oil of your choice.

    ✓ six vitamin E capsules

    ✓ soap mold or plastics

Step-by-step process of my soap making.

    Step 1:

I put my ripe and cleaned pawpaw on my chopping board and then used a knife to chop it into pieces. I put it into my grater afterward, grate it into a soft paste, and pour the paste inside a bowl. I had to use a grater instead of my electric blender as there were light outages just when I was about to blend, and you know the mission must continue, hehe.

    Step 3:

I poured the grated soap inside my pawpaw paste and then added one spoonful of turmeric powder, followed by cutting the six vitamin E capsules and pouring the oil inside, and lastly, I added the coconut oil.

Just when I needed to blend all the ingredients, my electricity was restored. I blend all the ingredients for a minute, and they are ready to be put inside the mold.

    Step 4:

I do not have a soap mold, so I used some old plastic I have. I just filled the plastics with my soap paste and kept it in one corner of the house for three days to dry.

And my pawpaw plus turmeric powder soap is ready to be enjoyed.

This and the last two images are from the old one I made, as today's own is yet to dry. All images are mine.

The best part is that it foams so well, and unlike my turmeric face mask, this does not leave a yellow stain on my skin.

What a simple and easy soap recipe to make, and just like that, my dry skin condition is now a thing of the past. And my pimples are 98% gone.

The soap left my skin well-hydrated, fresh, and soft all day long. My only regret is why I didn't try this much earlier, hehe, but the truth is if the egg 🥚 soap I usually buy and use on my face hadn't gone over 100% in the space of one year, I wouldn't have tried this recipe.

The end, dear friend. Thank you very much for your time and support. Have a happy holiday. @funshee ✍️❣️🙏
