She thought she met the man of her dreams after a failed marriage. After being single for 5 years, Susan met a man online whom they would chat to the wee hours every night. This man was so nice to her, always so understanding to what she shared, always lending that listening ear to her, always praising her for her looks and showered her with loads of love.
Little did she know, this man was a crook cloaked in sheep's skin. After gaining her trust, he asked her if she could help him with a business venture that he was starting and ask for three hundred thousand US dollars. She was quick to agree and immediately transferred the money.
In a recent gathering with her friends, they were discussing about love scams and Susan realized that whatever her friends described were all happening to her. She was devastated, a man that she thought she could depend on after the failed marriage turned out to be another one that broke her heart. That night, while bathing, she broke down and effectively cried a bathtub of tears.
She vowed to be more independent and not going to be so trusting to any man that approach her out of the blue.
