Rising Star: Making up a story for Andy

Andy was born in Bogotá, Colombia. His parents had a lot of money. His mother didn't work, and his father was a powerful drug trafficker.

Andy lacked nothing, materially speaking. He had plenty of food, clothes, and expensive toys.

But he had other problems. He couldn't live stably in a house. He was constantly under the guard of criminals. For his father's safety, he changed his address regularly. This made it difficult for him to keep friends. Every change of address forced him to find new friends, go to a new school, start playing sports all over again, and more problems.

Andy's parents were very loving, and he never lacked the family's affection. Andy's main problem was that his father's job affected his social relationships. He had to lie to his friends and classmates about his father's job.

Andy liked soccer. But every move hurt him. He had to find a new team to play for and couldn't establish himself on a team. When he did manage to earn a spot, he had to find another team because his family moved.

The same thing happened at school. Every move meant going to a new school and having to find new friends among his classmates.

Andy liked music. He took singing lessons. He also took English lessons. His dream was to be the singer of a rock band and travel the world with the band to escape his father's world. Singing, for Andy, was the ticket to freedom. It was the only thing he could progress on, and he didn't have to start over every time the family moved; he just had to find a new person to teach him how to sing.

He was successful with women, but he couldn't maintain a stable relationship. Every time he moved, he had to start over.

When he came of age, he traveled around Europe with the intention of forming a band. He toured several countries and decided to stay in England. There, after a long time, he managed to form his band. He wasn't a good songwriter, but the other members composed good songs.

They started doing covers and then playing their own songs.

When they felt their music had They started performing in small venues with good quality.

They became well-known in the city and managed to gain fans.

Then they began touring the United Kingdom, gaining fans in each city. The band gained fame and managed to release an album.

With this success, the band set new goals. They decided to tour Europe.

With the European tour, problems began. As the band was successful in each new country they visited, journalists investigated their origins and discovered who their father was. Poor Andy, who had nothing to do with his father's business, had to face legal problems. He had to explain that he wasn't a drug trafficker and that he wasn't laundering money.

This also hurt the gang. In more than one country, the investigation included the remaining members of the gang.

The gang continued to grow. It was time to explore other continents. Fame brought other problems. His father's rivals now knew who he was and where he was.

A drug trafficker, a rival of his father, waited patiently for the gang to tour Latin America. When it was the band's turn to perform in Santiago, Chile, Andy was shot in the head right on stage during the show.

Andy nació en Bogotá, Colombia. Sus padres tenpian mucho dinero. Su madre no trabajaba y su padre era un poderoso narcotraficante.

A Andy, materialmente, no le faltaba nada. La comida, la ropa y los juguetes costosos le sobraban.

Pero tenía otros problemas. No podía vivir de maneta estable en una casa. Siempre estaba custodiado por delincuentes. Por cuestiones de seguridad de su padre cambiaba de domicilio regularmente. Por esta razón le costaba conservar los amigos. Cada cambio de domicilio lo obligaba a buscar nuevos amigos, ir a una nueva escuela, volver a empezar en la práctica de deportes y más problemas.

Los padres eran muy cariñosos con Andy. El afecto de la familia no le faltaba. El problema principal de Andy era que el trabajo de su padre atentaba contra sus relaciones sociales. A los amigos y compañeros de escuela les tenía que mentir sobre el trabajo de su padre.

A Andy le gustaba el futbol. Pero cada mudanza lo perjudicaba. Tenía que buscar un nuevo equipo donde jugar y no podía consolidarse en un equipo. Cuando lograba ganarse el puesto, tenía que buscarse otro equipo porque la familia se mudaba.

En la escuela le pasaba lo mismo. Cada mudanza implicaba ir a una nueva escuela y tener que encontrar nuevos amigos entre los compañeros de la escuela.

A Andy le gustaba la musica. Tomaba lecciones de canto. También tomaba lecciones de inglés. Su sueño era ser el cantante de una banda de rock y recorrer el mundo con la banda para escapar del mundo de su padre. El canto para Andy era el pasaje a libertad. Era lo único en lo que podía progresar y no tenia que volver a empezar cada vez que la familia se mudaba, solamente tenía que encontrar una nueva persona que le enseñara a cantar.

Con las mujeres tenía exito pero no podía mantener una relación estable. Cada vez que se mudaba tenía que volver a empezar.

Cuando llegó a la mayoría de edad se fue a recorrer Europa con la intención de formar una banda. Recorrió varios países y decidió quedarse en Inglaterra. Ahí logró formar su banda después de un largo tiempo. El no era un buen compositor pero los otros miembros componían buenas canciones

Empezaron haciendo covers y luego a tocar su propias canciones.

Cuando sintieron que su música tenía una buena calidad enpezarón a presentarse en pequeños lugares.

Se hicieron conocidos en la ciudad y lograron gerar fanaticos.

Luego empezaron a recorrer el Reino Unido ganando fans en cada ciudad. La banda ganaba fama y logró lanzar un disco.

Con el éxito, la banda se planteó nuevos objeticos. Decidieron ir de gira por Europa.

Con la gira europea empezaron los problemas. Como la banda era exitosa en cada nuevo país visitado el periodismo investigaba sus origenes y descubrían quién era su padre. El pobre Andy que no tenía nada que ver con el negocio de su padre tenía que enfrentar problemas legales. Tenía que explicar que no era narcotraficante y que no lavaba dinero.

Esto también perjudicaba a la banda. En más de un país la investigación abarcaba a los restantes miembros de la banda.

La banda seguía creciendo. Era hora de ir por otros continentes. La fama le trajo otros problemas. Los rivales de su padre ya conocieron quien era y donde estaba.

Un narcotraficante rival del padre esperó pacientemente a que la banda hiciera gira por latinoamérica. Cuando llegó el turno de que la banda se presentara en Santiago de Chile y mataron a Andy en pleno show arriba del escenario de un balazo en la cabeza.
