A palm tree mark and mint mark D are marks of the United States.
The obverse depicts the portrait of Wilhelmina facing left surrounded by lettering in Latin WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN which is translated to Wilhelmina, Queen of the Netherlands. A tiny rosette is found below. This is also designed bu Johannes Cornelis Wienecke
