Phew š®āšØ itās finally over, now i can finally put my head to rest, what a long and hectic day. The long awaited and highly anticipated Christmas celebration has finally come and gone, it literally ended about an hour ago or thereabouts, well thatās for this side of the world though, canāt say much about other countries. Now the only celebration we have ahead and are anxiously waiting for before the year 2024 runs out is the New year celebration, and in no time that will also happen and before we know it the ship for the year 2025 starts sailing, until easter which happens to be in the fourth month before any celebration and holidays holds againā¦
The funniest thing about this whole Christmas celebration was that i saw it coming this way, but then i didnāt know it would be as deep as this, i was only talking about the surface this morning but now that the day has finally come to an end, and the fact that Iāve witnessed everything unfold today, Iāve just confirmed how deep this whole Nigeria situation is affecting everyone. The only people that turned out as expected today were the ones with big pockets, but for people like us, I think we have finally figured out the importance of cutting our cloak to our respective sizesā¦
Hahaha, what a beautiful realization. I was on the lookout for canopies and cows today but to my greatest surprise only just one canopy was found in the whole of my area. The faster we understand the importance of cutting our cloak to our respective sizes the better it is for us to start the new year with a clean slateā¦
How I spent my Christmasā¦
In the post i made yesterday i made mention of attending a morning service today. I attended the morning service looking all decked up in my own way, i came back home and immediately went to my usual spot, I spent some minutes in the second house and decided to go spend some time with my high school buddies at the lodge they are. We spent some time at lodge before we all went out to the eatery as we were all hungryā¦
We got our food and immediately dug in as we were quite famished, the boys and i finished in minutes and in no time got a bike and headed home. My friend owns a bike, he took two of our friends with him on his bike while i and the rest boarded a different bike. We got to his house and rested a little bit. I think the food we ate at the restaurant was spiked, if it wasnāt spiked, how the heck did I start feeling sleepy minutes after the meal. Hahaha, i am kidding. I guess me feeling sleepy was just because I enjoyed the food and I wanted to lay on my bed immediately after i was done with it, thatās how i do in my homeā¦
In summary, I didnāt spend much time with them after heading back home with them, they needed to be somewhere after our trip to the restaurant and I couldnāt tag along because i am my mummyās boy šā¦
In conclusion, i came back to the house and started making preparations for rice and stew as ordered by the big bro in house. The whole cooking was done before 7pm, i got home and ate my dinner before settling down to see a movie on Netflix. It was a 1 hour 56 minutes Hollywood movie, it ended around 10:38pm and I dressed up to prepare for church. Now i am back home and about to head to bed. The journey continues tomorrow, more enjoyment tomorrowā¦
