Hello friends of this community, I hope you are feeling great... this time I want to talk about a very well known movie, which became famous some years ago and has been considered by many as the best DC movie. That's right, today I will talk about Joker... this is a movie that I saw, obviously, some years ago when it was released. I didn't see it in the theater, I saw it at home a few months after it was released, but after watching it, I think I regret not going to see it in the theater... I think it would have been much more interesting. From the moment it starts, this movie completely envelops you in a unique and somewhat disturbing atmosphere...the main story follows Arthur Fleck, an outcast man living in Gotham City, Arthur is a very damaged character, not only by his environment, but also by his own mind.

From the beginning we are shown a man struggling to find his place in the world, a world that seems to be specifically designed to reject him in every aspect. The film is a raw, unfiltered look at the transformation from an ordinary man to the fearsome Joker, and it does so in a way that is both very fascinating and unsettling. What makes this film so special and relevant is the way it forces us to empathize a little bit with a character that in any other circumstance would be seen as a villain, but here we see a little bit of this clown's humanity, his dreams, his aspirations and how it all slowly crumbles around him.

Hola amigos de esta comunidad, espero que se encuentren genial.. en esta ocasión les quiero hablar de una película bastante conocida, que se hizo famosa hace algunos años y que ha sido considerada por muchos como la mejor película de DC. Así es, hoy les hablaré de Joker.. esta es una película que vi, obviamente, hace ya algunos años cuando se estrenó. No la vi en el cine, la vi en mi casa unos meses después de estrenarse, pero luego de verla, creo que me arrepiento de no haberla ido a ver al cine.. creo que hubiera sido mucho más interesante. Desde el momento en que comienza, esta película te envuelve completamente en una atmósfera única y algo perturbadora.. la historia principal sigue a Arthur Fleck, un hombre marginado que vive en la ciudad de Gotham, Arthur es un personaje muy dañado, no solo por su entorno, sino también por su propia mente.

Desde el principio se nos muestra a un hombre que lucha por encontrar su lugar en el mundo, un mundo que parece estar diseñado específicamente para rechazarlo en cada aspecto. La película es una mirada cruda y sin filtros a la transformación de un hombre cualquiera al temible Joker, y lo hace de una manera que es muy fascinante y a la vez inquietante. Lo que hace que esta película sea tan especial y relevante es la forma en la que nos obliga un poco a empatizar con un personaje que en cualquier otra circunstancia sería visto como un villano, pero aquí vemos un poquito de la humanidad de este payaso, sus sueños, sus aspiraciones y como todo esto se desmorona lentamente a su alrededor.

One of the aspects I loved most about this movie is Joaquin Phoenix's incredible performance...his portrayal of Arthur is masterful, and even earned him an Oscar...he really immerses you completely in the character and shows you a range of emotions from absolute despair to manic euphoria. It's impossible to look away from the screen as we watch this character transform step by step into the criminal clown prince... every gesture, every twitch, every uncontrollable laugh helps paint a complete portrait of a man on the edge of the abyss, it's truly shocking. Todd Phillips' direction also deserves special recognition... here he really surprises a lot by delivering a film that is visually interesting and deeply atmospheric, the whole city of Gotham feels like another character in the film.

It's a dirty, oppressive place that seems to give off a really negative energy that is bound to affect all of its inhabitants.. the film is also full of little details that contribute to a sense of unease, a weird feeling. From the trash in the streets to some of the news, everything in this city is designed to make you feel uncomfortable and it works perfectly.

Uno de los aspectos que más me gustaron de esta película es la increíble actuación de Joaquin Phoenix.. su interpretación de Arthur es magistral, e incluso le dio un Oscar.. realmente te sumerge completamente en el personaje y te muestra una gama de emociones que van desde la desesperación absoluta hasta la euforia maníaca. Es imposible apartar la mirada de la pantalla mientras vemos cómo este personaje se transforma paso a paso en el príncipe payaso criminal.. cada gesto, cada tic, cada risa incontrolable contribuyen a pintar un retrato completo de un hombre que está al borde del abismo, es realmente impactante. La dirección de Todd Phillips también merece un reconocimiento especial.. aquí realmente sorprende mucho al ofrecer una película que es visualmente interesante y profundamente atmosférica, toda la ciudad de Gotham se siente como un personaje más en la película.

Es un lugar sucio, opresivo, que parece desprender una energía realmente negativa que es inevitable que afecte a todos sus habitantes.. la película también está llena de pequeños detalles que contribuyen a una sensación de inquietud, una sensación rara. Desde la basura en las calles hasta algunas noticias, todo en esta ciudad está diseñado para hacerte sentir incómodo y funciona a la perfección.

One of the central themes in the story is the disconnect between the different social classes. Gotham is divided between the rich and the extremely poor, and this divide is palpable in several scenes, Arthur is a product of this environment, a man who has been shunned by all those who should have helped him. It's a story that explores the lack of empathy and indifference, and how this can drive someone over the edge, and it does so in a way that is brutally honest...the main character's relationship with his mother is another important aspect of the film. We get little glimpses of all that extra baggage Arthur has, and we see how this connection slowly contributes to his descent into madness, the revelation about his true origin is one of the key moments of the film. I think it conveys very well what would be that mental breakdown that anyone could have on a bad day, in a bad week or in a bad life.

Uno de los temas centrales en la historia es la desconexión entre las diferentes clases sociales. Gotham está dividida entre los ricos y los extremadamente pobres, y esta brecha es palpable en varias escenas, Arthur es un producto de este entorno, un hombre que ha sido rechazado por todos los que deberían haberlo ayudado. Es una historia que explora la falta de empatía y la indiferencia, y cómo esto puede llevar a alguien al límite, y lo hace de una manera que es brutalmente honesta.. la relación del personaje principal con su madre es otro aspecto importante de la película. Nos dan pequeños vistazos a toda esa carga adicional que tiene Arthur, y vemos cómo esta conexión contribuye poco a poco a su descenso a la locura, la revelación sobre su verdadero origen es uno de los momentos clave de la película. Creo que transmite muy bien lo que sería ese quiebre mental que podría tener cualquier persona en un mal día, en una mala semana o en una mala vida.

The film also doesn't fall short in showing how this character's violence and insanity are a response to a society that has treated him and spat him out with much cruelty...there is a clear progression in how Arthur begins to slowly lose control. We see him initially as a victim, but as the film progresses he becomes the perpetrator of increasingly heinous acts, the film doesn't justify his actions, it just contextualizes them, showing us how a man can be pushed to the extreme by the circumstances in which he lives.

Joker is very different, there are multiple layers to the story, and many things are left open to the interpretation of the viewers... the film plays with the idea of what is real and what is not, keeping the viewer constantly in a state of uncertainty, this is something I loved, and it is felt very much especially in the ending, where the doubt remains as to whether everything we have seen has really happened. This ambiguity is one of the great strengths of the film, as it allows for multiple perceptions and debates about what is really happening, or what is being seen.

La película tampoco se queda corta al mostrar cómo la violencia y la locura de este personaje son una respuesta a una sociedad que lo ha tratado y escupido con mucha crueldad.. hay una progresión clara en cómo Arthur empieza a perder poco a poco el control. Lo vemos inicialmente como una víctima, pero a medida que la película va avanzando se convierte en el perpetrador de actos cada vez más atroces, la película no justifica sus acciones, sólo las contextualiza, mostrándonos cómo un hombre puede ser empujado al extremo por las circunstancias en las que vive.

Joker es muy diferente, hay múltiples capas en la historia, y muchas cosas quedan abiertas a la interpretación de los espectadores.. la película juega con la idea de lo que es real y lo que no lo es, manteniendo a quien la vea constantemente en un estado de incertidumbre, esto es algo que a mí me encantó, y se siente mucho especialmente en el final, donde queda la duda sobre si todo lo que hemos visto realmente ha sucedido. Esta ambigüedad es una de las grandes fortalezas de la película, ya que permite múltiples percepciones y debates sobre lo que realmente está pasando, o lo que se está viendo.

The aesthetics of this film are incredible...from the cinematography to the production design, everything is designed to immerse us in the disturbing mind of the protagonist.... The muted colors, some new lighting and haunting music combine to create an atmosphere that is oppressive yet captivating, there are some moments where it feels like Arthur is in a nightmare, and that is a testament to the director's ability to create a thrilling and very immersive visual experience.

Obviously, like everything in the world, I think it's not perfect, in my opinion, sure.. I think there are some aspects that are somewhat predictable, not many, but a few, especially in the first two acts, there is a sense that the film is going around in circles before reaching the true climax, and this could have been handled in a more correct manner, in my opinion. However, these aren't major problems, it's pretty minor stuff... it does its job perfectly, which is to offer a deep and disturbing look into the mind of one of pop culture's most iconic villains.

Joker is a film that can certainly stay with you in your mind for a long time, it's a unique cinematic experience that challenges you and provokes certain emotions... It really forces you to look into the darkness of what the human mind is, and to consider how today's society can create its own monsters. I actually think it makes sense that many consider it a work of art, I somewhat agree with these people, it is very powerful. My rating is a 9.5/10. La estética de esta película es increíble.. desde la cinematografía hasta el diseño de producción, todo está diseñado para sumergirnos en la mente perturbadora del protagonista.. Los colores apagados, algunas iluminaciones en nueva y la música inquietante combinan para crear una atmósfera que es opresiva y a la vez cautivadora, hay algunos momentos en los que se siente como si Arthur estuviera en una pesadilla, y eso es un testimonio de la habilidad del director para crear una experiencia visual emocionante y muy inmersiva.

Obviamente, como todo en el mundo, creo que no es perfecto, en mi opinión, claro.. creo que hay algunos aspectos que son algo predecibles, no muchos, pero sí unos pocos, especialmente en los primeros dos actos, hay una sensación de que la película está dando vueltas en círculos antes de llegar al verdadero climax, y esto podría haber sido manejado de una manera más correcta, a mi parecer. Sin embargo, estos no son problemas mayores, es algo bastante menor.. cumple perfectamente con su cometido, el cual es ofrecer una mirada profunda y perturbadora a la mente de uno de los villanos más icónicos de la cultura popular.

Joker es una película que sin duda puede quedarse contigo en tu mente durante mucho tiempo, es una experiencia cinematográfica única que te desafía y te provoca ciertas emociones.. Realmente te obliga a mirar dentro de la oscuridad de lo que es la mente humana, y a considerar cómo la sociedad actual puede crear a sus propios monstruos. En verdad creo que tiene sentido que muchos la consideren una obra de arte, yo en cierta manera estoy de acuerdo con estas personas, es muy poderosa. Mi calificación es un 9.5/10.
