Continuing my exploration of Zone 2 training, I got an early start at the hotel gym this morning and got on the treadmill. It was my cardio day so tried something new suggested which was a walking interval session with incline changes. I was rotating between 3% incline and 8% incline for 45 minutes. Found myself in a good rhythm as it was not too rough but I could feel it slightly. I had a cooldown after on the treadmill to complete an hour.
Before I left the gym, I got on the mat for my core training which remains a challenge as engaging the core is still a bit disappointing as I continue to realize the amount of strength I have lost over the years. Still motivated with the momentum I am still building while focused on staying healthly to keep it going. The rest of the day was filled with meetings at work with some breaks for some good meals. Diet is going well although I had some temptations this week with sweets but I was able to resist.
