One sunny morning in a small forest near the village, I found a small creature that was quite interesting: a small bat known as Scotophilus kuhlii. This bat is often called the "Kuhl's Bat" and is a species commonly found in tropical areas like here.

When I held this bat carefully, I could see the unique details of its wings. The wing membranes are thin but strong, with fine veins that are clearly visible in natural lighting. While observing its tiny body, it is clear how its body is designed to fly quickly and agilely between the trees.

Scotophilus kuhlii is a type of bat that often lives near human settlements, eating insects at night. Through their role as insectivores, these bats actually help maintain ecosystem balance by controlling insect populations, including mosquitoes.
