Celebrating women's month from March 1-31.THEME:Babae sa lahat ng sektor aangat ang bagong Pilipinas.
Purple, a color that you see everywhere people used to wear it ,but do you know purple has a deep meaning? it something symbolizes and represents woman identity,capability and personality.Purple is not just a color just like the word ( babae ka ,Hindi babae lang)
We have the subject in our curriculum GSPS and it talks about gender equality and sensitivity, to give importance to the women who thriving hard it's time to celebrate the effort they exerted in everyday raises in their lives.
Culmination day,me and my classmates are preparing for the activity there are lots of activities that we prepare like Zumba , fashion show , filming all of these activities are highlighting women in different professions , because we believe that women can dominate to males abilities proving that whatever men do women can also do .To avoid discrimination we need to take or break the gap between inequalities between genders identity,I really do believe that our abilities doesn't define of who we are but how we use our skills through different field of positions.
Together with my classmates we participate in different activities and we are glad that we made the event successful,This event is part of our midterm exam so to prove our professor that we deserve excellent grades we do our best to let them realize we can beat the challenge and Iam not wrong because we did it we got the first place in Zumba and film showing Iam so proud with my classmates.
Before the event started we prepared everything that we need including the costumes and the props .
I also crochet our headband for our presentation in Zumba , actually this is rush customize crochet headband because they inform me 2 days before the event and I need to rush everything so that 16 pieces of headband completed the day of our presentation ,so as the busy person I crochet whenever place I go even in schools after our class I will grab and hold my crochet hook with yarn and start working this rush projects.
As crocheter I never get exhausted in dealing this business because they say if you love that kind of work you never feel tired instead I got motivated day by day.
Here's the pictures of my stunning, gorgeous classmates wearing my crochet headband in shade of purple.Look how cute they are an as the maker if feels my heart happy and overwhelming ,I always prayed to God that if they comes people discover and appreciate my cargy I would be the happiest person Crafter in the world and that is happening right know I can't explain the feeling I feel today .
The day we've waiting for has come , March 28,2025 culmination day first part of the event we attend orientation where faculty and staff engaging us or informed about women's month what are those violence and gaps that are need to address in terms of women's identity.After that short orientation we watch our film showing created by Education programs that has a subjects of GSPS. Everyone enjoyed watching the film ,they are shouting, supporting their designated sections ,also me I am surprised how our efforts turns into success Iam one of the cast in our film presentation and Iam happy that we pull it off the way we wanted .
Second part of event ,the fashion show get started.The fashion highlighted the different sectors where women's dominated that nature of work like policewoman, teacher, president and so on .Our section representative did their best they nailed it infront showcasing the ability of womens gender equality,also the different programs are cheering and supporting their representatives.
After the fashionshow the Zumba presentation begins ,while waiting for our section to announce we took a lot of pictures to remember.Iam a kind of a person who is collecting a lot of memories in a way of taking pictures because when I get old I want those pictures be my happy memories the moment that Iam still young.Reminiscing great memories bring back memories bring back.
Insights: Iam glad that Iam part of this curriculum where they are educating us and informing us as this days where discrimination is still presents though we can control or diny the fact that discrimination still exist especially for women's,we should treat every gender fairly to avoid tensions between parties we are now in 21st century and beyond the rules in the past is different today all we want as Filipinos is the equality,and we as young generations we are oblique to spread equality that is why education should give more importantce in higher authority.
Woman is just more than just a women they deserve to be celebrated and appreciated.
