Mom several times has told me how was the day I was born, well better said the early morning, yes because I was born at 4 am, she tells me that day was all Caracas in emergency because of the torrential rains that were falling, my grandmother was the one who attended the birth because I was born at my mother's house, thank God they were able to communicate with the fire department and they came immediately to move us to the nearest maternity hospital.
Some people are happier when it rains, while others' moods tend to change and they become melancholic (sad or depressed). How do you usually feel on rainy days and what are your favorite things to do?
Whenever it rains and I get excited, I remember that anecdote mom told me and I say to myself, hey no wonder you love the rain so much! 😍
Yes, I love the rain and this is since I can remember because I have so many memories playing in the rain since I was very little, even though my mother said that I could catch a cold, until now I do not know why she allowed me to last so long bathing with those huge drops, I think she saw that I enjoyed it very much and to tell the truth I do not know if at some point I took a cold.
And that love for bathing in the rain was growing because as a teenager studying in high school, many times I came home soaked in water from my hair to my shoes, the words of my mom when she saw me arrive I remember very well, she only said, girl you look like a soaked chicken, go dry yourself quickly and take off those wet clothes!
But well I kept growing up and until not long ago and being married I also enjoyed those heavy downpours falling on my hair, cheeks, the only thing I didn't like was getting my feet wet, but well nothing is perfect.
Now I no longer live in my beloved city, Caracas, but I live half an hour away in a beach area where it almost never rains and honestly I miss those rainy months very much, besides now I enjoy more that rain that is soft and melancholic.
When it rains here where I live now, which to tell the truth are few times, I enjoy the rain in a different way, I don't immerse myself in it, I only hear its drops falling, that gives me a calm and relaxes me, every time I see that the sky turns gray and I hear thunder it gives me a feeling that I can't explain but it gives me happiness.
Besides that it cools the atmosphere because here most of the time it is usually very hot, I like to enjoy through my window the drops falling on the trees, and feel the smell of damp earth that is fascinating.
On those rainy days, I like to meditate a lot, I thank God for His perfect and beautiful creation, plus I have a pretext to be curled up in my bed, either watching a movie or having a romantic moment with my husband, here I am blushing hahahaha 🫣.
Another thing I love to do when it's raining, is, make a hot drink can be a cafecito, chocolate or tea but that's a must have.
But the rain that I enjoy the most is the one at night, that rain that falls just at bedtime and that is soft and serene, oh yes, that soft sound relaxes me and I sleep happy and calm.

Saludos hermosa comunidad de ladies of Hive 🌹.
Mamá varias veces me ha contado como fue el día que yo nací, bueno mejor dicho la madrugada, si porque nací a las 4 am, ella me dice que ese día estaba toda Caracas en emergencia por las torrenciales lluvias que estaban cayendo, mi abuela fue la que atendió el parto porque nací en casa de mi madre, gracias a Dios que pudieron comunicarse con los bomberos y ellos acudieron de inmediato para poder trasladarnos a la maternidad más cercana.
Algunas personas son más felices cuando llueve, mientras que el estado de ánimos de otras tiende a cambiar y se vuelven melancólicas (tristes o deprimidas). Cómo te sientes normalmente en los días de lluvia y cuáles son tus cosas favoritas para hacer?
Siempre que llueve y me emociono, me acuerdo de esa anécdota que mamá me ha contado y me digo a mi misma, oye con razón te gusta tanto la lluvia! 😍
Sí, amo la lluvia y esto es desde que tengo uso de razón porque tengo tantos recuerdos jugando en la lluvia desde que era muy pequeña, a pesar de que mi madre decía que me podía resfriar, hasta ahora no sé porque ella permitía que durara tanto tiempo bañándome con esas inmensas gotas, creo que ella veía que yo lo disfrutaba mucho y a la verdad no sé si en algún momento tomé algún resfriado.
Y ese amor por bañarme en la lluvia fue creciendo porque siendo adolescente estudiando en bachillerato, muchas veces llegaba a casa empapada de Agua desde el cabello hasta los zapatos, las palabras de mi mamá al verme llegar las recuerdo muy bien, ella solo decía, muchacha pareces un pollo remojado, anda sécate rápido y quítate esa ropa mojada! jajajaja tiempos aquellos.
Pero bueno seguí creciendo y hasta no hace mucho y ya estando casada también en algunos momentos disfruté de esos fuertes aguaceros cayendo por mi cabello, mejillas, lo único que no me gustaba era mojarme los pies, pero bueno nada es perfecto.
Ahora ya no vivo en mi ciudad amada, Caracas, pero vivo a media hora en una zona de playa en donde casi no llueve y sinceramente extraño mucho esos meses de lluvia, además ahora disfruto más esa lluvia que es suave y melancólica.
Cuando Llueve aquí en donde vivo ahora, que la verdad son pocas veces, disfruto la lluvia de otra manera, ya no me sumerjo en ella, solo oigo sus gotas caer, eso me da una calma y me relaja, cada vez que veo que el cielo se pone gris y escucho un trueno me da una sensación que no la sé explicar pero me da felicidad.
Además que refresca el ambiente porque acá la mayoría del tiempo suele ser muy caluroso, me gusta disfrutar por mi ventana las gotas caer en los árboles, y sentir el olor a tierra húmeda que es fascinante.
En esos días lluviosos, me gusta meditar mucho, agradezco a Dios por Su perfecta y hermosa creación, además tengo un pretexto para estar acurrucada en mi cama, ya sea viendo una película o teniendo un momento romántico con mi esposo, aquí me estoy sonrojando jajajaja 🫣
Otra cosa que me encanta hacer cuando hay lluvia, es, preparar una bebida caliente puede ser un cafecito, chocolate o un té pero eso es algo que no puede faltar.
Pero la lluvia que más disfruto es la de la noche, esa lluvia que cae justamente a la hora de dormir y que es suave y serena, oh si, ese sonido suave me relaja y duermo feliz y tranquila.
